Great price and very sturdy.
Great crutches great price. If you used the cheap ones in the past like me. Be ready they have weight to them. The are really heavy duty. They say to use them under Doctor supervishion or rehab. Well I didn't and the weight of them and me having just had a leg aputation. The crutches almost pushed me over so be careful. Chances are if you need crutches like this you are big and should have no problem but be careful because I am 6.5." 285 lbs. And I have had a couple close calls but I am always going outside and up and down steps with one leg for now. I would recommend getting the pads the recommend for under the arm if you will be using them all the time like me. You can't use a walker with steps and I don't like walkers anyway. Be safe.

Very good!!!
These crutches are great! Was was very worried that they wouldnโt be heavy duty but when I got the package damn it was heavy. But crutches weight what me and my husband think 5 pounds each and they hold up to 500lb. My husband is a heavy set guys and felt good about using them. The only reason why I didnโt give 5 stars is that they run tall, shortest is 5โ9 and according to my husband that him on a good day but needed to make minor adjustments. Other than that they are perfect. ALSO JUST TO CLARIFY WE BOUGHT THE CRUTCHES NOT THE CUFFS :)

Better than Aluminum
Yes they are heavier than those light weight aluminum crutches, but if you're a big guy like me, you'll feel safer with these. The aluminum crutches I had felt like they were always about ready to collapse under my weight. Not these. I'm 5'10 and these are perfect. I would say they are good for someone up to 6'. They are durable and should last a long time

Good affordable crutches
I bought these because I broke my leg and ankle a couple weeks ago and I made the terrible mistake of opting for the hospital manager advice and got a $150 walker instead of crutches, after 3 weeks of hopping around on my good leg I obviously got tired and needed something that would ease my body weight off my one good leg, and these do the job wonderfully at a very affordable price since Ill only need them for just another 2 weeks. Honestly Iโm mad at the reviews they have, most of them are complaining they are cheaply made when the crutches were $25 for a pair. If you donโt want cheap crutches then donโt be cheap and get something else, thats on you. Theyโre obviously going to look cheaply made if they are, you cant expect to pay $12.50 for a crutch and expect it to be built like a $50 one, its just not going to happen. These are obviously made affordable so lower income individuals can afford what they need, or someone who just needs a quick solution for a short time, like myself. They are cheap and theyre honestly not too bad, Im 5โ3 and weigh 140 pounds and they get the job done for what will be short term use.

Review Was 5 Until Piece Fell Off
I got the youth size which is supposed to go to 5โ2.โ I must have grown after age 50 because these are at least 4-6 inches too short. The height markings did make it easy to adjust. In the video, I have no idea what the deal was with the hand grips. I found them easily adjustable. The crutches are very lightweight but still seem sturdy, except now after about 2 weeks, the wing nuts are breaking. It makes me concerned what else might break on something Iโm depending on. Update: My physical therapist is disappointed with how their is such a height discrepancy. Canโt return without paying a fee so just trying to make do. Also, bits of aluminum are chipping off. My passenger seat is turning silver instead of its natural blue. Of course if I wasnโt on crutches, I could vacuum the mess off

INACCURATE SIZE--INELIGIBLE FOR RETURN! DO NOT PURCHASE!!
Are these crutches well-made? Yes. Are these crutches heavy? VERY heavy! But these crutches are NOT SIZED CORRECTLY! Whatever your height is, take off @ 4 inches and then buy that pair. I took these out of the box, their lowest setting is 5'10" and I'm 6'2" according to my physician. So I should have to lengthen these crutches--but I could actually stand to lower them an inch. At their lowest setting, they're pressing against my armpits... a bit difficult to wield. So I put the crutches back in the box, and today, well within the "return window"... I'm told these crutches are ineligible for return! So I'm out $85 on something I can never use. WAY TO GO, AMAZON!!

Height Setting
Item is great! Well built and really sturdy... they are a bit heavy but not much of an issue... I am 6โ2โ but I had to use them at the 6โ0โ setting... so I would say if you are under 6โ0โ then they might not work for you. I really like them... feel more stable with them as opposed to smaller crutches

Heavy but very stable and confidence inspiring.
Overall: These are heavy, solid crutches. If you need more support than the standard aluminum crutch, these are an excellent option. That said having used these now, here are the things I'd say. 1. Most aluminum crutches have a max weight tolerance of 300lbs. These are rated for 500lbs. I sought these crutches out, because I weigh 250lbs and am 6'3". I had a bad accident and two emergency surgeries on my knee. I've had to use crutches from day one after the first surgery. Standard hospital crutches are lightweight and max at 300lbs. I noticed after a few weeks of six weeks to date of using crutches to move even a foot, my aluminum crutches were starting to creak and make noises that don't inspire confidence. The last thing I wanted was to be three-quarters of the way into recovery and have my aluminum crutches have a sudden, catastrophic failure, having me crash to the ground on my injured knee. 2. Consider: steel is stronger and stiffer than aluminum. It has a higher ultimate tensile strength and yield strength, making it more resistant to deformation under load. Aluminum is more prone to bending or buckling under high loads unless properly designed (e.g., with thicker tubing or reinforcements) and there's no indication that standard $70 aluminum crutches have thicker material at stress points. Steel is resistant to fatigue (crack initiation and propagation) under cyclic loading. Steel can endure more stress cycles before failing, and aluminum is susceptible to fatigue. Aluminum lacks a fatigue limit, meaning even low-stress cycles can eventually lead to crack formation and catastrophic failure. For a big guy like me who is using crutches to move utterly anywhere and relies upon them for 100% reliability, I need a high weight max load and no aluminum that can just fail. Steel can crack but you get warnings. 3. So, these crutches are heavier than aluminum for sure. Heavy enough that you notice the difference with aluminum immediately. Aluminum crutches are easy to use, carry, take in and out of the car, etc. Cons: Weight. Painted grey as ugly as a hospital radiator. The stock tips are kind of basic. The stock wing nut and washer that secure the handle portion are cheap. Pros: Extremely solid. The armpit part of the top of the brace is a huge advantage over the standard crutch. Its a big wide semi circle of extremely well padded, comfortable-but-firm rubber material, so your armpit is extremely well seated when you walk. Very secure and confident when you walk! Conventional crutch armpit supports are straight across, and I often miss seat the crutch when starting to walk, a dangerous falter. Hand grips are also a solid, thick rubber spindle. I like these handles more than any other crutches I've used. Conclusion: If you're a big guy who wants to be 100% sure of your safety while walking, these are an excellent choice. They're too heavy for smaller or lighter people, but smaller people don't need the 500 lb max load. I tricked mine out by replacing the stock tips with a bigger, more solid set off Amazon for about $15. I replaced the stock wing nut and washer on the handle spindle with a more robust, stainless wing nut and a locking washer. Small cost, big investment in security. Also added friction tape off Amazon to cover the upper portions of the crutch, so the hard heavy steel doesn't impact counters, sinks, toilets, etc too heavily when you rest your crutches to pee, or grab a drink at the fridge. The friction tape is grippy so the crutches don't slide along counter edges when you stand them against a surface as you grab a drink, etc.

So easy to assemble. Insert one piece into the other and you're ready to go.
If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing these, you don't have the time or patience to be messing around with directions. These are so easy to assemble and adjust, you really don't need directions. (although you should read them over)
