Purchased 50 Feet
To minimize sandbags, I purchased 50 feet about nine months ago for my concrete driveway. So far I have not had to use it. Praise the Lord. I have unfolded it. It appears to be a very high quality flood preventative. When rolled up, it is heavy! I placed it on a hand truck with straps for easy movement and storage. It is very costly though. If it works, it will be worth every penny. Because of the weight, as a 70 something man, I'm thinking about replacing it with an ABS Plastic L-Shaped Water Barrier from Amazon.

Disappointing
You likely need more than 1 to block the water from coming around the ends create a complete barrier. As water comes in the unit floats and the baffles don't open readily. Our flooding is slow but steady. I added bricks inside several baffles to hold the bottom down and open the baffles up a little to catch the water. The results were disappointing. We did alot of management during the flood and nothing made it work. We didn't bother deploying the next 2 floods. It's a very expensive barrier that didn't work during hurricane Debbie. The house flooded about 5". That was very mild flooding compared to the previous 1 and next 2.

Does NOT work for ocean applications
Purchased a 30ft x 20inc water-gate. We tested yesterday against some small (<1 ft) waves. COMPLETE failure ! 1. Leading edge kept getting flipped up by the waves. Sandsbags did no help – would not stay in place. 2. Sand collected in the rear area of the water-gate. After a few minutes the dam would not rise again. 3. With 1 hr the entire thing filled up with sand and became useless as the waves just passed over it. 4. The sand filled water-gate was impossible to move because of the weight. We finally picked it up with a skid-steer but the whole thing tore in two while trying to get the sand out. Waste of $ 2000. I contacted the vendor. They claim we did not use it properly: This is not a failure on the Water-Gate, but rather where the Water-Gate is applied.. The Water-Gates would need to be placed on a concrete surface for minimal seepage. I do not agree with this assessment. Even on concrete, the waves will force sand into the water-gate and it will clog and fail to work. The sand trapped inside the water-gate is very difficult to remove and adds so much weight that it impossible to move without damage. There is no practical way to remove the collected sand. This product is NOT suitable for applications where sand may be deposited. So it should not be recommended for ocean use. In addition, the leading edge is too light and is easily flipped up by waves after which the device does not work. In my assessment, the water-gate is ONLY suitable for standing water protection.

Set
Read details carefully. Setup requires a lot of things they don't tell u. U need submersible pump to make them work correctly. Will keep them because I have pumps, but would have like to know that before I bought. These things are not cheap!

Easy to handle
Haven't had to use it but if it works like it does in the videos, I'll be happy.
