Seems just as fresh as other organic herb & flower brands that I often buy but it's my first time purchasing Gotu Kola

Mild flavor, bright dried color and pleasant strong herb odor. Good smooth balanced gotu flavor in tea form, makes good tinctures, strong in flavor. Clean quality with low level of fines but there are stems mixed with leaf pieces (whole plant), which is what I was seeking. Typical variability of piece sizes and appearance as I would expect in better organic products.
