Great investment
The Scotch guard works wonders. I will definitely buy some more of this product because I’ve been having my couches for over two years now and they’re like a cream color and I haven’t had a stain on them yet.

Saves your fabric
Anytime I buy a new piece of fabric furniture, which isn't too often, I buy one of these cans. They've always worked well and saved the new fabric from staining. The downside is it smells awful but that eventually dissipates. Just wish it wasn't so expensive. Recommended.

The product shown (fabric protector) is not the product sold (water proof )
The product depicted on the Amazon image is a fabric protector. The product delivered has a different label and is essentially a water proof formula. It appears that Scotchguard no longer manufactures the original product. I was especially dismayed by the advertising error, but more peeved by the ‘no return or refund’ policy from the vendor. Given the clear difference between the image posted on the Amazon site and the actual product, this is clearly consumer fraud.

Scotchguard fabric protector
I always buy Scotch guard protector for fabric when I get any new carpet or upholstered furniture. It is a very good product.
