Do you need to connect this to a mac or pc to use it?

No - you can run it stand alone. It is a bit finicky and tricky to program patterns without the Behringer (included) sequencer programming tool, but if you're old school it works just like the TB 303 USED TO WORK. Step input, one note pitch and note value at a time. A pc/mac will make this easy - point and click. And then you DUMP what you created to the TD3 for playback.

I have a child that likes to play with music all day long.Do I need to connect this to an instrument for him to create music.How to save his music?

It is an instrument itself. You need a way to connect to a computer and can then record a song with a free DAW (Digital Audio Workstation. ) Bitwig is one I know offhand, but there are several. I use Presonus. They have a basic one for free. You may need an audio interface to connect to the computer. Behringer offers some low cost solutions. UCA222 I believe. I started that way and it worked well. Behringer may even have a solution. Check out their downloads page.

Hello! Does it come with an international power supply? (110v-220v)

My TD-3 arrived with a power supply with an interchangeable U.S. plug adapter (100v-240v) so I think you can purchase different plug adapters elsewhere that are compatible with the power supply. Hope this helps.
