I’ve been using this product for years. It has a slight scent, but nothing that lingers too long on the furniture. I can’t attest to it removing odors. I try very hard to keep my new fabric sofa covered and in shape. My golden retriever loves to get on the sofa and commence to licking her paws which has left some saliva stains on the sofa. I used this product right away and removed the stain. My other pup left a mud print on the sofa and again, I removed the stain. I did however left the mud to dry so I could brush off before I used the product. My worse case was shortly after we bought our sofa. After having a color war with chalk bombs, my granddaughter came in and laid on our sofa. I had bright pink chalk that covered it! I was mortified, but my son thought nothing of it. After they left I gently cleaned every inch with this cleaner. Some I left to dry for another pass the next day. I did get it all out and then scotch guarded the fabric again for protection. I was impressed and my husband wasn’t throwing fits all day!

This product is excellent for removing stains. I use it on my couch when my kids or dog get it dirty. My couch is a light cream color and this will take the stains right out. Even if the stain sits for a little while, I am still able to get it out with this product. You also don’t need to use very much of it. I actually find it helpful to not use a lot of it because if you use too much sometimes it leaves a little bit of a mark on the couch where you can tell where you sprayed it. I also find the spray lasts a long time since you don’t need to use a lot of it.

Purchased this after we got a sample bottle as part of our care plan. Would I buy the care plan again? No, but I do like this product. We used up the sample bottle quickly. It seems to work well on fabric couches so we went ahead and bought a full-size bottle considering the couch is gonna get a lot of use and, therefore, probably hit with a lot of stains over the years. This will come in handy. Wish we would’ve just bought this instead of the expensive care plan for our fabric sectional. Lesson learned. Reason for 4/5: Not a fault of the product itself. I’m annoyed that the spray bottle was shipped in the same box as baby spoons and it leaked a bit, soaking through part of the Amazon box and the baby spoon packaging. Thankfully the baby spoons can be washed, but cleaning products and other liquids should be placed in a plastic bag or taped shut before shipping to avoid this. It would’ve likely ruined other products.

I received a sample of this from the furniture store when I bought a new sofa. Works wonders! Since then, I purchased a large bottle; I’ve used it (with horror on my face!) only to soon realize that Guardian IS removing the stain (coffee, tomato sauce, etc.) Very pleased.
