These are smaller than expected. However, they are a nice convenient snack. They taste sweet and fresh, which is a plus.

This 12ct is about the size of 3 regular pies. Extra sweet since its mostly glazed bread. The apple filling were just mostly sauce and not a lot of apples. Dry & sweet. Good for the price if you like eating "bite" size things like a snickers. Each one is about a size of a normal person's thumb. Size would have been good as a variety pack.

These are such a nice snack size. The flavor is fantastic as always. There's no way I could eat one of the full size pies today so these are perfect. Just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth.

I thought that this might be a better deal over the $1 4.5 oz pies, but not even close. For all 12 of these pies, I paid $3.77 sale price. For the same value, I could buy 3 of the 4.5 oz pies, which totals 13.5 oz. Normal price of this box is $4.32, and that means I could get 4 of the $1 pies, for a total weight of 18 oz. Almost half a pound more substance, for less! I just wish I had done the math ahead of time. Now, say you have small children. These are perfect size for a kid's lunch box. I don't think your kid would complain much, if at all. However, outside that niche circumstance, these are bland. The amount of apple chunks in them are laughable. I've managed to find only a couple chunks of apple in the 6 pies I've consumed since purchase. They're sweet, but hardly have any real apple flavor, or spice to them at all. They're not just small, but they're a step down from the $1 pies in general. The 100 calorie slogan is eye rolling. This is not worth your 100 calories. You can get cups of creamy, flavorful, yogurt with real fruit and more flavor in a single bite than these snack pies combined.
