Sprouted quickly
Not only did it sprout but it is growing nicely. I have it in a raised garden bed with summer squash. I do use miracle grow a little and I am watching the leaves grow larger. I want to use for Korean dishes as a leaf wrap.

So excited!
I am so excited to be growing shiso in my garden. It's my favorite herb, but its so hard to find in grocery stores. I have followed the instructions, after a week I see little sprouts already popping up.

Long germination and anise flavor
These seeds took forever to germinate, but germinate they did, and they grew into healthy plants. Please be aware that this is the kind of shiso that tastes strongly of anise. It is not the broad, bright green leaf often seen on Japanese plates.
