I enjoyed working with this wire on my jazz bass - many more projects to come I hope! I would say this saved me a good amount of time. No wire stripping, no pre-tinning each wire. Just cut it, push it back, and solder it up. Yes, it helps to have good tools! :) The cloth does fray if you work it too much - you can see where my big dumb hands struggled with pushing back the cloth on the smaller pieces of wire. I’m pretty sure I could have fixed that by hitting it with a lighter for a very brief moment. It also looks great in my opinion, is resilient, and can hold a shape. Any way - good times - I highly recommend this wire, it’s the good stuff.

When I set out to revive an old guitar I decided to thank it for its years of service with a complete electronics rebuilding. This meant new pots, pickups, input jack and wiring to join it all. This wiring worked excellent. The fact that it was pre-tinned made the entire install a lot easier.

Definitely a vintage feel, but I guess I missed the 22 gauge that was in the header listing haha. All good, just wished it was a thicker wire. Like maybe 16 gauge. Will work for the repairs I plan to make.

Definitely something any guitar luthier or modifier needs in their toolbox. The cloth is quite a bit thicker and more robust than the OEM cloth wire Fender uses on their US made guitars. The wire itself looks and feels like it is a higher quality as well.

Fantastic wiring, an absolute must for accurate professional wiring jobs. Avoid the braided shield wiring and stick with this stuff.
