Nice birdbath!
We bought this for our backyard birds as the summer heat in Virginia really does a number on them. The birdbath is easy to assemble and we did put some heavy rocks inside the base as recommended to stabilize the bath during our windstorms and to prevent raccoons and such from knocking it over. It's never tipped over, so we must have done something right. It's a nice size, pretty sturdy material and our birds really love it! I put some perching rocks in the bowl for the smaller birds. The larger birds...jays, blackbirds and crows love to splash around in the deeper areas. It's a community bath house! We added a small solar fountain to keep mosquito larvae at bay. Nice to hear the trickling water too. I brought the birdbath inside over the winter to act as a base for my large Boston fern. No worries about spilling water all over the floor and it looked really nice too! The only downside is that the bath is fairly shallow, so on very hot and/or windy days, we sometimes have to fill it twice a day. Not a big deal because our birds are such big fans of it!

Sturdy but Lightweight
Very nice little bird bath. I had been looking for a lighter weight option for my mom and this was perfect. It’s lightweight being plastic based but you can fill the inside with sand making it pretty sturdy! It’s a good compromise for us being able to easily move it while not worrying about it blowing over. It also looks pretty realistic

Fiberclay bird bath
Lightweight (can be weighted), nice deep basin, looks good. Actually four pieces, not three. Have a mallet or hammer handy to connect pieces. One piece has screws already installed, but they don't do anything and aren't needed. Overall, a great alternative to more expensive, ceramic birdbaths.

Sturdy and beautiful
This product is way better than I imagined. The 4 pieces fit tightly and there is even a rubber washer holding the actual bath which sort of screws into place. It is very sturdy, made of a plastic/cement so very light but very strong. The design and colors go perfectly in my garden. I can’t stop looking at it. The actual dish is quite artistic and matches the white statues, white cement, rocks and greens and reds. What a surprise. Thank you!

Worth $30 Not $70, Cheap
This is made out of cheap material, the bird bath weighs nothing qnd it came poorly packaged and hugely damaged. This is a ripoff at the price, Fred Meyer for the same price will offer a real one made out of ceramic.

Very nice!
I've been searching for a bird bath and not finding just what I want, maybe I'm being picky. I didn't want a bird or other figure on it already, didn't want something to break off if it gets knocked over in a storm or just with time. I wanted some weight to it, even if I can fill it with sand it can still fall over and if it's too flimsy it's just going to break. I didn't want concrete because it's just too heavy to move if I want to. You can see I had a lot of criteria. I ordered this figuring I'd send it back. When I opened the box I was shocked! It has an exterior appearance of concrete as far as texture, somewhat rough rather than that smooth like the cheap plastic molds. The color is very nice and I like the bowl, it is just as pictured, I think it makes it look like concrete. The weight is just right. I did put sand in the base, but it does have some weight and I think unless there was a significant storm or raccoons or large animal it would stay upright without problem. Obviously, the base does hold sand and I did fill it. I still think something like a raccoon could tip it but unless you have a true concrete birdbath I don't know how you get around that, I've had a concrete one that was just crazy heavy and just didn't want that anymore but it held up to those dudes. I did have just a bit of struggle assembling initially, the two base pieces fit tight. I didn't have sand yet and had to take it apart to put the sand in and was a little worried how that would go but I was able to pull it apart and reassemble without problems so I am not taking off any stars as it really wasn't that much trouble and I didn't use any tools to get it together the first time. I think if it was any different it wouldn't fit tight enough and sand would leak out. Birds were using it the first day without a fountain and I plan to put a heater in it this winter. Really a very nice bird bath at a reasonable price compared to what I've seen and I've been shopping around for a couple months.

Looks pretty
Base arrived cracked vertically, but usable, so I’m keeping it. Too much hassle to send it back. It looks pretty in the garden; no birds yet…but I’m waiting for the solar fountain to arrive tomorrow. Base has been filled with crushed rock for stability. Top I would not fit securely, so I hope a large bird won’t dislodge the basin. product again.
