Keeps phosphate down better.
I was using the regular GFO from this brand and from an aquarium website. My phosphate was only going down to about .35 and then would creep up. I started using this one and finally my phosphates are .05! My reef tank has never had phosphates in check until now.

Reef success
Absolutely rocks at keeping phosphates down in my 1300 gallon reef system! Running a bunch of Tangs in a 120L x 48”W x 36”H with a 300 gallon sump. Absolutely recommend this product to anyone wanting to Reef hard!

Good grain size. Minimal dust.
Container was filled correctly (as compared to the reviews/complaints with the 2 little fishy's GFO). Grain size is good. Rinsed with RO/DI water in a mesh bag a few times to get the dust out. Initial dose is 1 gram per gallon. 1 tablespoon = 8 grams. Maintenance dose is about twice that amount.

Great performance!
Great performance. Have high phosphates. I started with half the recommended dose, then two weeks later went to a full dose. Tested phosphates in the aquarium and water coming out if the reactor. Phosphate level was cut in half after going through the reactor. Will continue to buy!

Hard to rate...
This product seems to work at least as as well as (if not better than) the many different kinds of phosphate removers that I have tried—I continued to have an issue (but definitely better than without any phos remover). My algee was still a problem until I got a UV light. Would I buy this again? Yes.

Reduces phosphates
I've been running this product through a Two Little Fishies Phosban Reactor 150 for the last two weeks and have already seen a modest decrease in my phosphate levels in my reef tank. Make sure you rinse it thoroughly before use. It took me quite a bit of rinsing before the granules were clean.
