Very nice case. I purchased for the Novation Circuit Tracks and the unit fits perfectly inside. Interior is a soft plush velvet. The lid just barely touches the encoder knobs so the unit does not move around. The power adapter does not fit but I can fit the usb cord and my earbuds in with the unit. Circuit Tracks is the new, thinner model. Original Circuit would NOT fit.

Hard shell exterior with a soft cloth interior. No extra padding but it feels quality enough. It’s a rather snug fit for the Launchpad X, but it does fit. The strap is only connected on one side whereas the picture is a little misleading so nothing besides the friction of the fit is holding the launchpad in the case, but it’s not really something I’m too concerned about.

I got this for my Novation Circuit Tracks because I couldn't find a case for it on amazon. Great build, fit the charger cord and power bring no problem.

We bought this travel case to protect our daughters’ launchpad. It is not as hard sided as I expected but works well. It serves as a travel or protective storage case in the event there are other small children or animals in the house. My daughter is very happy with it and uses it when she takes her launch pad to a friends home. Packaging was secure and shipping was fast. If you purchase a launch pad, this is a “must have” to protect your investment.

Nice hard case for the price, since the only alternatives at this price are soft cases that don’t offer the same protection. My only complaint is that the securing strap in the 2 cases I received are completely different than the one shown in all of the pictures! From the pictures, we can clearly see the case uses a single long strap to wrap completely around the device, and the strap is held in place by connecting the 2 small strips of velcro sewn to each end of the strap. But in reality, the case contains a strap that is only long enough to lay across 1 side of the device, making it impossible to wrap around! Plus, there’s no velcro sewn to the strap at all, so there’s no way to hold the strap in place! I tried tucking the strap under the device to secure it using the weight of the device, but this is no better at securing the device than if I forego the strap entirely. It’s a minor discrepancy, but it still nags at me because I liked the idea of having the device stay put even if the case is picked up by the handle when the lid has been closed but not zipped. Not an everyday use-case but mistakes can happen when you’re packing or setting up your gear in a hurry. So I’ll probably just cut the strap off since it doesn’t really do anything—but even without the strap, this case still earns a 5/5 from me because it’s really good quality for the price and most other cases don’t even have a securing strap. Just be sure to zip up before you pick it up and you’ll be good.

The case is too small for a Launchpad X. You would really have to shove the corners in which is going to damage either the launchpad or the case. Why use a protective case that is going to damage your items? The seller needs to remove the X from the listing title. This case fits the old, round corner, launchpads not the X. On top of that the case has no padding at all. The case is made of the outer layer, which is a thick hard canvas type material (it has the same sort of softness as a shoe leather maybe), then a thin layer of velvet stuff over that. That's all. No padding and no cushion whatsoever. All it will do is prevent scratches and be a burden to remove your launchpad from. Sending it back.

I've had this for months and it still STINKS of a Chinese factory and their weird adhesives. I've even left it open and airing out this entire time. Luckily it's for something I've been using this entire time bc idk if it'll ever air out. It does fit a Circuit Tracks or Rythm pretty well, even with the Decksaver attached and will hold a couple cables if you need it too with it. Shame it smells.

This case is portable, convenient, and great to use. I will only buy another travel case when this one is past warranty.
