With 4 kids we go through a lot of glasses. In fact, I feel like a bit of an expert in this department. These glasses have exceeded my expectations. The first ones I ordered were poorly packed, and one was broken. I was able to ship back the unbroken ones, and Amazon refunded me promptly, so I decided to give them another shot. I’m really glad I did. Here are the top three reasons why I love these these glasses: 1 Durability. I was putting them away one day and didn’t get one all the way onto the shelf in the cabinet. It fell down and literally bounced off our granite countertops. Not a chip or crack to be seen. Amazing! 2. Look/feel. This is a nice glass. It can be used for everyday meals or special occasions. They are big but not too big; heavy, but not too heavy. The ribbed sides give them a nice, unique look, too. 3. Ease of cleaning. I know some complain about the ribbed part being on the inside, and yes, when we drink smoothies, I need to rinse them well before putting them in the dishwasher, BUT in general, the dishwasher does a decent job. We had acrylic drinking glasses before these, and they got scratched and cloudy. We’ve been using these new glasses every day for weeks, and they still look brand new. Also, importantly, the bottoms are very flat and won’t collect water in the dishwasher. Hope this helps!

Lovely set of glasses & perfect for cocktails!

Simple, elegant, well made glasses. They've stood up to daily use for several years. I've only had them break when dropped from several feet on regular flooring, or shorter falls on obviously hard surfaces like concrete.

I bought 2 boxes for a gift. One large glass broke in shipping. They quickly sent replacement box. Recipient likes the set of glasses very much. I offered to let her keep the other box to use for future breakages and she gladly accepted. Instead of returning the original box with the broken one, I'm letting her keep them minus the one that broke. Doesn't seem to be a way to replace just one broken glass so I'm just going to leave it the way it is. Glass does break naturally, unfortunately. I'm very pleased this gift worked out fine in the end. They look very nice in her cupboard and she's happy with them so it turned out fine. I think the shipping box could have had thicker dividers perhaps but it might have been rough handling along the way. No way to know.

We bought two boxes of these glasses initially, as we were cleaning out a hodgepodge of different cups and glasses so we can have some uniformity in the kitchen. One box was fine, none of the glasses were broken; but the other box had 6 broken tall glasses. The boxes were combined into one Amazon box, and fit snugly in the Amazon box--but I noticed there wasn't anything on the box indicating that it was fragile? I called Amazon about the order. They had me take pictures of my broken glasses through a link they sent me--which I thought the pics were saved to my phone also--they weren't. So no pics of the first box that was broken on this review. Amazon was awesome, and sent us another 2 boxes of these glasses to fix the issue. Box #1: Had only 1 broken tall glass--all other glasses were perfect. Box#2: All of the glasses were intact, but 4 of the tall glasses had a white residue on the edge from the cardboard packaging. It scratches off, and should easily wash off--so nothing major. No broken glasses! (Yaay!🥳) I noticed the label was strategically placed to try and keep the glasses on their side, and it appeared to have been delivered with care this second time; however, still no "fragile" sticker on the box? The glasses themselves have a good weight to them, and are good for stacking in the cabinet--though I wouldn't recommend stacking more than one glass on top of the other. The glasses are suceptible to breakage in transit, but should be fine once you get them intact, so long as you are mindful of that. When our glasses our dirty, we either rinse them right away and add them to the dishwasher, or we set them in a designated spot next to the sink if there's a chance other sink items might pose a potential to break the glasses. This method has worked thusfar, and we love our new set of glasses! I have also used them in our refrigerator to get some crushed ice and water, and it held up just fine, no worries! Definitely a major improvement on the thin, flimsy glasses we had before--and at least after the issue we had, we now have backups if anything breaks! When stacked, a box would fit 3x3 for stacks of 2 if you buy 2 boxes. What we have here is short the 6 glasses that broke--washing the replacement glasses and will post an update at a later time. For what it is, and the amazing service from Amazon--the price isn't bad. They are easy to hold. and will likely be easy to measure with if mixing drinks, due to the horizontal lines on them. I recommend if you aren't in a time crunch for a set of glasses, and can possibly handle a few broken glasses from being in transit. The short glasses never broke--it's only the tall glasses that have had this issue, and again--Amazon was helpful to correct the issue. Hope this helps!

This set of glasses are an excellent buy. Clear in color lines circle around each glass. Simple, elegant style compliments multiple/ bowl sets. Durability wise I have dropped one on hardwood floor with no scratches, chips, and no break ing of glass. Frequently dinner guests 12 and under have heavily placed on table with no breaks. Kid friendly. Easier to clean than plastic glasses. No staining on bottom of glass from drinks. Most important for those who are prone to drop glasses, issues gripping glasses as I the shape with texture works. I was worried about them they are perfect. My search for the perfect glasses is over. I hope this helps with those who want a practical, simply durable, kid friendly, and adaptable glass set for those with grip issues. And most importantly compliment any plate set. The two sizes are ideal so you have a large and small size to accommodate the quantity of liquid you want.

Talk about durable.... these glasses are amazing. Dishwasher, or hand wash, these have handled it all well. They are thick glass that keep your drink cold longer. I am so happy with this purchase. A great kitchen set.

Kids are getting older so we are up-grading from plastic cups to glass! Parents will understand. THIS GLASSWARE SET is excellent quality. Dishwasher safe. Glass stays clear. Doesn't fog up like cheap glass after dishwasher. Perfect size. Heavy weight in hand. Doesnt feel cheap. Love how you get both sizes in same box/order. Subtle glass design will match with whatever dishware theme you have for. Great idea for gifting new house or wedding. Must buy. For the $ you spend online, be much more in store for quantity.
