Worked Great! My 40 Gallon Electric tank honestly only needed just the large piece that came, so now I have extra for some other projects! Unsure if it will create any real difference, but I assume it will regulate the temp of the metal.

I feel good knowing that our 30-gallon water tank is well insulated now. It didn't take long to cover and tape it all in place. But the "kit" is little more than a roll of mylar bubble-wrap and some foil tape that can both be bought at a home supply place for less. And now I have quite a lot of the bubblewrap leftover that I need to find a use for.

I got an amazon gift card as part of a home energy audit where it was recommended that I buy one of these wraps. For what is included in the kit I probably could have purchased it cheaper at home depot, but since I technically didn't have to pay for it I got this instead. The kit shipped quickly and arrived in a few days. However when it came it only had the radiant barrier bubble wrap, and 2 pages of "instructions" which weren't exactly helpful. It was missing the foil tape and any other installation accessories. I contacted the seller and he sent me out a replacement kit the next day, which somehow took a week to arrive. The foil tape is NOT sticky enough. It falls off if you look at it funny. Again, for what I paid, I could have done better with a trip to home depot. We'll see if it actually works long term, but buyer beware you may need to go get some extra supplies to make this work.

I have installed several water heater jackets before. This has been the easiest one to install. I am very pleased with the product. Excellent service, excellent product!

This product helped me pass inspection on my rental. The inspector did not like my old fiberglass water heater blanket because it caused a bulging in the water heater cover. I bought this NON-fiberglass, shiny water heater blanket with some worry that it would not hold in heat as well as the old fiberglass blanket. My worries were not justified. The new, shiny water heater blanket fit perfectly, works great, looks great, and did not bulge my water heater cover. And, it passed inspection. Great product. I am going to install one on my home water heater.

Kit had every thing you need from tape to razor and insulation. Pretty easy to do has instructions. So far seems to hold heat in pipes are warm. And will see over time if drops price of electric bill since my place is all electric. If not at least aliens will not be able to make contact with water heater do to all that foiling wrap!
