Solid State Relay SSR-40DA 40A Input 3-32V DC Output 24-380V AC with Heat Sink for Thermostat Temperature Controller

I recently purchase a new high-end receiver for my new theater room. My older receiver had a 110v switched outlet that I used to turn on a 110v relay which turned on my power amps. My new receiver doesn’t have a 110v switched outlet, instead it has a 12v assignable trigger output. So I purchased this SSR to trigger on from my stereo and power on my amps. It has worked great for the month or so since I connected it. Silent compared to my old large relay, and doesn’t “stick” on like my relay did occasionally due to the arcing of the contacts.

Having the relay and heat sink come together helps in designing projects. The relay works well in distributing power in electronics.

I find it rather annoying they don't include the things needed to actually use this. The mounting screws for the heat sink are not included, and it should have some thermal paste/pad under the SSR. The screws I'll have to figure out what thread they have and go buy a package at ripoff store prices. They should be included. Otherwise they appears to be good. I have not tested the SSRs yet.

Bought the 25 amp relay, they malfunctioned shortly after. Tried the 40 amp relays, which lasted a few months before one melted in half. Buy a better product.
