A MUST for those who love botany!
The AC Infinity exhaust fan is a top-notch choice for anyone needing effective ventilation. It’s incredibly efficient at moving air and keeping spaces cool, which is perfect for managing heat in various settings like grow tents or workshops. The fan operates quietly, a major plus if you're sensitive to noise, and the build quality feels durable and reliable. Installation is straightforward, and the adjustable speed settings allow for customized airflow. Overall, it’s a well-engineered product that performs exceptionally well, making it a valuable addition for maintaining optimal conditions in any space.

If you are reading this you are probably searching for grow equipment with a budget in mind which can be confusing, but rest assured this is an awesome deal. This includes the 4 port model 69 controller w/ temperature probe which retails for $99 just by itself. So basically for a little more money you also get the exhaust fan. Using this and adding a UIS compatible AC infinity grow light and circulation fan you have the ability to control the entire setup via the wired controller or wirelessly via Bluetooth/wifi from the app. You also still have one UIS port left over on the controller for a humidifier, heater, etc. The ventilation fan itself runs super quiet and does not produce noticeable extra heat. It is also very energy efficient. All hanging and mounting hardware is included with multiple different options for installation. Be advised ducting for the fan is not included but can be purchased separately, any 4” diameter air-dryer hose will work. ACinfinity is known for their excellent fans and this is no exception. User manual is also very clear and easy to understand. All told this is absolutely a great deal and a great first component to your indoor garden.

Mine came with a 69 Pro controller!
I just found out this package came a few days ago with a AC Infinity 69 "Pro" controller!!! Very satisfied with this. I don't know what all the Pro has above and beyond the regular 69. I do know one thing is the vapor pressure deficit. Let me do a regular review and then I'll mention VPD again. OVERALL Overall I'm very happy with this system, it's letting me play mad scientist and create my own environment while doing something I love, growing plants. Tomatoes, sage, bamboo currently. It's a tiny bit noisy (see the humidifier section), so you probably don't want it in your bedroom if a little clicking is going to keep you awake. FAN I've had this setup a few days and I'm mostly satisfied with it. The fan is nice, it doesn't feel like it pushes that much air but for a smaller space it's adequate, I use it on a 2x4 space. The fan bracket keeps the fan pretty close to the bracket so depending on your installation you're going to be stretching to get the bolts into the holes. It works in the end, but clearances are tight. Make sure you account for any ducting that attaches to the fan in your install. CONTROLLER The controller is the star of this show. I was looking at the controller and saw this extra number on the screen that wasn't in the AC Infinity 69 manual. It's kPA, kilo-pascals. I did a little googling and realized I had the Pro controller! This kPA number measures the vapor pressure deficit. It basically means you need to keep your humidity in your grow space up around 60-70% to get your plants in the zone where they don't spend their energy in transpiration. Basically, when there's not enough water vapor in the air, plants will emit water vapor. If you have a high VPD you're watering your plants more than needed and they are working hard producing nothing but effectively sweat. Otherwise, if you're not used to thinking in terms of a state machine, you'll find this controller confusing. You have to cycle through several modes and then press non-intuitive buttons to program the thing. You'll be referring to the manual often, which is fine. This is actually a pretty powerful little controller, it does so much! The only thing it doesn't seem to do, which the docs seem to say it will do, is to have the fan respond to two inputs. Supposedly you can set the high temperature threshold in that mode, then cycle to the mode for high humidity and set that threshold. Then in theory the fan will control both head and too much humidity. (I'm not worried about humidity during the "day," it's at night when the plants transpire in the dark I want the humidity controlled. This controller doesn't seem to do both. ECOSYSTEM Don't forget, unless you buy all your parts from AC Infinity, you'll need some of the AC outlet controller boxes. I needed three, two for my Mars Hydro lights, and one for my cheapo humidifier. These boxes are $20 each as of this writing so that's another $60 laid out to get this system working. HUMIDIFIER Just a final note, you can really skimp on the humidifier. You don't need warm mist, and you need a non-computerized one that simply starts up when the power is applied, without the user intervening. I found one for $25 and there was a Amazon Warehouse deal for $16. It came with a couple hairs yuk gross but I save $9.

Effective and Well Priced
I purchased this fan to exhaust warm air from a home theater equipment rack. With all the equipment turned on, the temperature in the rack quickly climbs to over 90 degrees. The equipment rack is recessed into a closet under a set of stairs, so goal was to activate the fan to pull warm air out as soon as the temperature rose to 80 degrees at the top of the rack. With the controller, it can be set to automatically and progressively increase fan speed after the temperature hits the target. Every 2 degrees after the target the fan can increase speed by 1 step. PROs: > Very quiet at fan speed 1 and 2. At 10, this fan pushes a lot of air. > Controller allows multiple control options - I just needed the high temperature option > Easy to install with the mounting plate - I got this mounted and installed in under 30 minutes. > Fan direction can easily be changed. The fan module just pulls out and you can change airflow without uninstalling - this is great to test whether pushing cold air in vs. pulling warm air out works better for your application. > Nice long temp/humidity probe and cable let me place the sensor exactly where I needed it. > Ability to place the controller wherever you want it as well. > Works seamlessly with their matching 4-inch flexible ducting, and wall mount duct grille. > Comes with two duct clamps > High quality construction -- strong mounting bracket, and thick plastic casing. CONS: > At speeds between 3 to 10 you definitely know it is running, though it is probably quieter than other fans. > I have this mounted to a wood support. At high fan speeds the motor vibration does reverberate through the wood supports - so need to play with how to isolate the fan if noise is important. > Controller settings are very complex given what you would typically want to do. To set the fan to turn on at 80 degrees and increment speed in steps as temps rise took a bunch of menu hopping and instruction manual reading -- not intuitive. In contrast this was a very simple setup on their AIRCOM fans. > Don't like the fact that in AUTO mode, multiple sensors can affect whether the fan turns on... Took a couple days to dial it in. High temp, low temp, high humidity, low humidity... hard to predict when the fan will turn on... I get this is geared for agricultural use, but setup is more complex than it needed to be.

Incredibly Quiet Exhaust Fan
Decided to replace an older bathroom fan in our downstairs bathroom. The heater had failed and it honestly sounded like a freight train when you turned it on. My son wouldn't use it because of how loud it was and how little air it moved. Shopped around at the local home improvement stores and tested all of the standard models and none of them were really any better. If they were quiet they didn't move air, if they moved air they weren't quiet. Ran into a post about the AC Infinity line. Although they were designed as grow house fans the ratings were outstanding and they met my two requirements. Move a lot of air and do it as quietly as possible. Ordered the T4 and it came packaged amazingly well with great directions for the use of the remote control. Hooked it up on the kitchen counter and man, it was quiet! Also moved air like crazy. Sure there is always going to be some noise and vibration when you have it on full speed, but when you run it at half speed you can barely hear it and it will clear out a standard 8x10 or smaller bathroom of moisture in just minutes. A few notes on installation for a bathroom. 1. These were designed to be used in a grow room installation. The mounting options for the controller box are limited. You can't flush mount it and I wasn't able to find a mounting bracket that would allow it to be installed in a wall. Had to mount it on the wall. Looks ok but the cables can't really be hidden. 2. The power is plug in only, so if you want to hide the cord you'll have to install an outlet or have access to an existing outlet. I suppose you could cut off the plug and hardwire it, but the manufacturer suggests not to. This is an amazing fan and I'll be adding them to the other bathrooms in my house as well. Hoping AC Infinity comes up with a flush wall mount or a different controller design. Also a hardwire option would be fantastic. For a product this good they are so close to perfection.

Thermostat is useless but fan is great. Buy the one WITHOUT the thermostat display controller.
I like this fan. The noise levels are very low. I like the fan controller in that I can adjust the fan speed outside of the grow tent. BUT, the thermostat on this DOES NOT work correctly. It doesn't register the correct temperature or humidity. I calibrated it over and over, sometimes it will be correct for awhile but mostly it's all over the place. And I don't mean it reads high consistently or low consistently, it doesn't even come close most of the time either being way too high or way too low. If it's 75°F the controller is reading 82°F. If it's 77°F the controller is reading 69°F. You can't depend on it at all. As a result you can't use the other functions because they are dependent on the temperature readings. You can EASILY DAMAGE YOUR GROW because of this. I contacted the Seller and they were a little slow to respond but they did respond. They were able to get me another controller and probe. After receiving the new replacement I did testing against other thermometers that I own and know to be good and accurate. I expect a bit of variance but the replacement was worse than the original one. I finally just disconnected the probe because it not only irritates me to see the wrong readings on it all the time but it scares me when I see super high false readings. The difference in price for this fan with the controller and without the controller is ~$30. My recommendation is for you to buy this fan as it is really nice. Has nice strong airflow and is very quiet. But buy the one WITHOUT the controller and buy a separate wireless thermometer for around $25. If this company wants to sell more of these with the controller they need to fix this problem. If it worked it would have been great. I WOULD buy this fan again but WITHOUT THE THERMOMETER DISPLAY CONTROLLER.

Excellent product and value; a complete package with fan, control & temp probe
I bought this inline duct fan to add ventilation to my home theater. I have other AC Infinity products which are good quality and value so i decided to give this product a try despite the fact that there are no reviews yet. i looked at a lot of other inline duct fans and this was appealing because it comes well-integrated with a controller (the same logic as their other products), probe, and a normal plug. Putting all this together from other vendors would have been more expensive and I wouldn't have ended up with a nice looking an user-friendly control. I installed a jump duct to create a path for fresh air from another room and then installed a boot/return and attached the fan. I have temporarily attached it to 8 feet of aluminum rigid expandable duct which isn't great for sound control. It is quiet, especially on the lowest setting; I cant hear it running on the lowest setting. At higher speeds I can hear the fan a bit so I have ordered 25' of acoustical flexible duct which I believe will result in the fan being whisper quiet on higher settings. I have mounted the control on the wall in my theater so that I can turn it on/off and change settings - this feature is key as the control is a nice unit. Another key differentiator from other fans is that there is a temperature probe that can be mounted and the control can manage the fan on/off/speed based on the probe temp which is excellent. Overall I am very happy that I chose to give this product a try - this product also came very well packaged with excellent installation instructions. I would buy again without hesitation.

Really good
There isn't a whole lot of information on this unit. This is exactly what it comes with, and how it works. By the way I'm NOT affiliated, nor know AC Infinity I bought this full price to handle a solar air heater. *EDIT* The below information was on the ORIGINAL 12v Cloudline T4. I bought it again and found out the they've been redesigned and newer models are 24v instead of 12v and NOT compatible with each other (yet look and connect identically I blew my fan plugging the original 12v fan into the new 24v controller). The newer model has more CFM, a longer probe, and has a temperature&humidity probe in one instead of just temperature probe and they've done away with the smart mode feature. Most people would probably welcome the improvements, used for solar heating it's best with the smart mode feature they removed in the new so I ended up returning the newer style and finding another original 12v style. For solar heating, Auto mode of the new would've allowed 2 speeds and switched between them (off, medium, alarm speed) which is okay I suppose... but the smart feature of the original allowed 6 speeds for solar heating and was adaptive to minimizes fluctuations (basically perfect for my solar air heating project) so to me removing the smart feature in the new was devastating. Hardware: The fan comes with a controller, a stencil for mounting said controller, a thermal probe with 8' cord, 4x screws for mounting controller, 4x screws for mounting duct fan, duct fan, 4 drywall anchors, a 2 prong sideways power adapter with 6' cord that converts 100-240V AC 0.8AMax to 12V DC. The controller states Power: 12V DC 4A Output: 12V DC 30W MAX), 6x wire ties, 6x cable mounts, 6x wood screws, 2x 4" duct clamps. The controller can accept 2 fans, as of this review they don't sell another fan separate. I also assume the controller saying 12V DC 30W MAX is with 2 fans attached. The power adapter is small and thin and goes sideways into the wall or surge strip. That means it's one of the better design power adapters that can plug into any outlet of a surge strip and won't block any other outlets nor need to go into the "power adapter" port of a surge strip. The fan uses a quiet PWM motor, 6 speeds, and of mixed flow design. That means it's a jack of all trades kind of fan. Axial fans (think computer fans) have the greatest ability for air flow but poorest ability to overcome static pressure. Centrifugal fans (blowers) have the greatest ability to overcome static pressure, but the poorest air flow of the bunch. This fan is the jack of all trades having both good air flow and ability to overcome static pressure, and likely the most useful for most situations compared to axial or centrifugal. Mixed flow are also the quietest of the different fan types. The fan is IP44 rated (resistant to fluids, dust, heat, and humidity), has dual ball bearings rated to 67,000 hours, the fan can be mounted in any direction, and the thermal probe is stainless steel. The 8' probe cannot be extended nor replaced with a longer as of the date of this review (it has a unique beginning and end), but I had to have the probe 15 feet away so cut the wire to the probe and inside was just normal 2 wire (red/white). I inserted/soldered a 10 foot piece of thermostat wire to extend it, used some shrink tubing and hair dryer to protect it, and then siliconed and had over 20' probe that worked perfect. Installation instructions are clear and illustrated. 1 page is features, 1 page is included hardware, 1 page a diagram, 5 pages installation instructions, 3 pages Power and Setup, 2 pages cleaning instructions, 6 pages programming instructions, 1 page other AC Infinity products, 1 page warranty. The controller displays the fan trigger temp, alarm temp, probe temp, fan speed, brightness (3 settings available), and alert icons (fan failure, alarm, or display lock). The display can be changed from F to C, and maintains settings (in case of power failure). The display can also be turned off and unit still function (by hitting the leaf button). Modes: On = Fans run 24/7 at any of the 6 speeds you set. Auto=Fans will turn on at the speed you set in the On mode once the set temperature is reached. To prevent cycling, it will turn off once it reaches 4F lower than the set temperature (this can be changed to 2F instead). If the Alarm temp is reached the fans will go to max speed and beep every 3 seconds until temps drop below the Alarm temp. Off = No fans Smart = *This mode has been removed and no longer available only the 12v model has it the newer 24v does not* You set the temperature when you want the fan at max speed, and every 4F (can be changed to 2F) the fan speed will lower. This means you put the controller in smart mode and put the temperature to say... 100F. At 80F the fan will automatically turn on the lowest speed (speed 1). At 84F it will go to speed 2, 88F speed 3, 92F speed 4, 96F speed 5, and 100F speed 6. If the alarm temp is reached the fan speed will jump to max and beep every 3 seconds. This means there's a max of 20F between lowest speed and max. Alarm=You set the alarm temp, and when reached the fans will go to max speed regardless and beep every 3 seconds. Only works in On, Auto, or Smart. It can also be turned off. It also can't be set higher than 140F. To lock the controller, you hold the mode button down for 3 seconds. The controller will still function, but pressing anything will cause the lock button to blink only, and not affect anything. Holding it down for 3 seconds again will unlock it. The buffer defaults to 4F or 2C temp difference, but can be set to 2F or 1C. This is a well thought out and built unit. Comes with nearly all the hardware one could need, is easy to setup, the instructions are easy and well illustrated, and the unit is quiet with decent power to overcome static pressure. This is exactly what I needed for my solar air heater. The only odd thing is, the display has 3 brightness settings however it was missed in the manual how to change it. I tried every combo of buttons and holding them down to see if I could change it to no avail. Not that I wanted it dimmer, I was just curious.

One of my best buys!
This is an amazing deal. The controller quality is way beyond expectations. Its extremely rugged with excellent buttons and display. Fan has a special plug not a regular plug that inserts into the controller and the controller plugs in the wall. Extremely long wires and connectors are of high quality so this is built to last. You can mount the controller in the tent unlit or on the wall 20 feet away with 3 brightness levels. The temperature probe is very accurate and you can see the temperate fluctuate as the fan speeds change. Controller has six fan speeds and it can automatically change speeds. As someone else said this device alone is worth the $110. Not going to rate the fan until I have used it for awhile - but new it is also really nice. It is very quiet and powerful and certainly pulls good on a carbon filter. I have mine mounted vertically with 1 rigid 4 foot length of duct coming out the top of the tent like a chimney to max out the CFM. If you see no updates everything is going great. For now, I am extremely happy and would be if it was twice the price. UPDATE: 5 Weeks on 24/7 still excellent. Decided to just set it to the 3rd speed and it sucks in the walls of my tent. UPDATE: Totally stopped working a few weeks later so I returned it and replaced it with the same unit. Have had no problem with second unit for 6 months now. This fan is quiet but I would not pay too much of a premium for this as other fans much lower priced will work just as well.

Amazing inline fan and works great - loads of features
Amazing product, and it arrives with the new Controller AI, not the one displayed in the picture, so just a heads up. It's the newer and better model and provides lots of amazing functionality, and also looks better. The fan is great at extracting air and keeping humidity low in my basement, and I love that I can check the stats on my phone and see how it has been performing. Also, being able to control it from anywhere in the world is very useful as long as you connect the controller to WiFi. Noise can be a bit loud on max airspeed, but that's expected. Anything below 7-8 is very workable. I'm setting it up as a dual system with a blast gate and splitter for humidity control, and also as an electronics fume extraction system, which is great for that purpose. Controller sticks onto magnetic surfaces so I did not need to mount it and put it on my metal garage shelving and placed the fan unit on the top shelf. It comes with very high-quality cables, and the packaging is also very well thought out; each thing is easy to find. There is endless functionality on the app, and you can customise and automate it through a variety of sensors and cases such as RH, temp, etc. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants a good quality and well-made inline fan that has all the features.
