Got rid of my evap error. PO449
On my 2006 trailblazer SS AWD it's located on the front side of the rear axle by the gas tank so I didn't have to remove the spare tire but it did give me a little more room to slide in from the back. Now the gas pump doesn't keep kicking off while I'm trying to fill it up.

GENUINE GM
Not hard to install and GM products do what their job is intended to do. Dont go with aftermarket here because EVAP systems are vital

Fixed the P0455 error on 07 Envoy
Replaced gas cap first, cleared and error came back. Then replaced vent valve, cleared and error did not come back. Took 30min to change. 25 min of that was to trying to remove the U clip and remove existing valve due to rust build up. Had to reset the PCM (remove fuse 10 and 28 for 15min) as reader came back with possible error with throttle body. Anyhow, engine sounded better idling and felt smoother while driving.
