Very useful and nice

I really like this pan! I was able to make an omelette the Japanese way and it wasn’t as difficult as I expected. The pan seems very durable and worth the money. It was very easy to clean. I used oil to coat the pan so I’m not sure how well it performs without using oil or butter.

This is a very well made, one to two person serving size, tamagoyaki pan. If you make a lot of of tamagoyaki (for multiple servings or for Bento and sushi), you may want to invest in a larger size pan.

The pan size is shallow and not as deep as I thought it would be. My fault for not reading the description better. I’m half Japanese and when making Tamago-yaki, we use 5 eggs. Why? Because 3 is too small and 4 is a superstitious number. I could only use 3. Not a big deal. The pan distributes the heat evenly making cooking tamago-yaki easy and fast. When making Japanese omelet, you need high heat and you need to flip and roll fast so the inside stays fluffy. I was pleasantly surprised that the pan was very durable. I chose the black color pan because after awhile the white will show stains. The neon green spatula is a great addition but if I used it, my Japanese grandma would’ve had a fit. In my opinion this pan size would probably be good for people who are just learning how to make tamago-yaki. Also, fun fact we use it to make other dishes as well, not just omelet.

Best purchase so far in 2026!!! Not sure why I waited but I’ve been making tamagoyaki non-stop so far. My family loves it!!!

It's a very solid pan with a sturdy silicone and plastic spatula. It's heavier than the lightweight pan we brought back from Japan, which will go into the RV. The weight means that tamagos won't brown too quickly, which is ideal for rolled tamago. It does mean that the pan won't be useful if you want lacy, browned, sunny-side-up eggs.

Been using this to make omelet for months. Have to say it is easy to use, my family loves it. Every time I can make the right on spot Japanese style omelet! Been searching on Youtube to learn how to make the right Japanese Omelet and this pan is a lifesaver. Easy to clean, non stick, just throw into dishwasher. If you want to make the right Japanese rolled omelet, get this pan. Plus this is non stick, so you only need few drops of oil. More healthy this way to make omelet.
