Universal Bar Mount

I struggled to find phone mounts that positioned the phone center to my motorcycle's handlebars and this was the only one I found that could because of how flexible and adjustable it is. My Triumph Speed 400 has connected bracket handlebar mounts which would normally prevent traditional bar mounts to be installed because that center gap is blocked off but this is able to go right on top of it making for a perfect fit and cleaner look than even the cleanest conventional phone bar mounts! The silicone body of the mount not only allows for better surface area contact to the handlebar, but likely also helps aid in vibration dampening on top of the built-in vibration dampening Peak Design builds into the mount itself (where the phone mounts to). A magnet is built into the mount which helps guide the phone to lock into the mechanism. It has two buttons on the backside which have a light actuation force and you only need to press one of them to remove the phone which I can do one handed. When the phone is mounted, in my case I have an iPhone 14 Plus, it feels sturdy, secure, and does not come loose at all over hard bumps. At the time of this review I've had it for two months and ride my Triumph just about every other day and this mount so far has been durable, stylish, and well worth the money! Highly recommended and I would absolutely buy it again!

The Peak design bike mount is the most reliable/minimal bike mount I ever bought. You need to buy the Peak design mobile case for your phone in order to us this mount! Totally worth the price than buying a phone mount + a bulky case that you’re unsure if it will drop after hitting a bump. I’ve bought a couple bike mounts with the clamp design/ the web straps from Nitize and other brands. All of them were a hassle to clip on and off and take so much space on the handle bars without providing a sense of security of not dropping my phone( which i did drop). Peak design takes there same reliable technology they use for the Capture Clip camera system and do the same for the bike/phone mount. The only way to remove the phone off the mount is pushing 2 side release buttons under the mount and pulling off the phone that’s secured by a magnet on the mounting point for extra security. The phone case also has a magnet that secures it further if you’re thinking it only attaches to an iPhone back. The mount takes little space on my handle bars and can turn n lock easily with a twist. Highly recommend it for daily commuters and delivery bikers. I’ve had riders stop and ask me about this mount because it’s so minimal. The rubber mount strap fits many size handlebars and stems and hasn’t torn after months of use. This is the best investment I’ve made. Plus not to mention the compatibility with Peak Designs Mobile accessories for their phone cases.

I'm late to the game in attaching my phone to my handlebars of my bike though have tried a few other options over the years with disappointing results. Either they are inexpensive and fail to retain the phone well or are very expensive. This was surprisingly affordable and has held the phone solidly while the latching system allows for a quick release. The strap design allows quick attachment and detachment without tools so I can easily transfer this to other bikes or a motorcycle. It is currently mounted on my gravel bike and solidly grips the phone through substantial trail riding. The phone case design that latches on to this bar mount is thinner than other cases so is not as bulky when carrying the phone off the bike. I highly recommend the design and quality build.

Everything Peak Design makes is top notch. I have these on my two road cycles, and on my wife's. This one is for a gift for our son-in-law who is also an avid cyclist and uses a Peak Design case for his iPhone. With this mount securely strapped to the handlebars, we can turn of the auto lock in the display settings so the display remains live, and use it to listen to music, podcasts, etc. on a long ride. Music with a strong, driving beat makes it easier to get up extended climbs.

I have been a quadlock user for years, but often frustrated by how fiddly it is to align your phone when attaching. Having been a Peak Design customer for my camera packs and harnesses, I was looking forward to trying the phone mount system. It did not disappoint. Typical Peak Design quality and a brilliant and secure attachment function. Much easier to align and snap into place!

A must have. I use it for my phone on the e-bike XP4 and I love how it takes the least amount of real estate on the handle bar then any other phone holder out on the market I’ve checked out. Fits perfectly, easy install, holds phone very securely, minimal design

Great fit and function all the way around.

The Peak Design case system is one of the best I've seen. a Low profile design and mounts quickly to both of my bicycles. I bought this mount for a vintage cruiser bike I use frequently throughout the summer. It's perfect and easily transfers from bike to bike without a need for tools. The price is a bit much however, could easily be cheaper.

Coming from QuadLock, PeakDesign offers are smaller/slimmer profile and nicer design (subjective). The hold on this thing is STRONG. You can probably lift the damn bike with your phone once it's mounted. I love that it takes me 4 seconds to take it from one of my bikes and mount it to the next one. My only issue is, if you don't really really strap it down, it can slide. Basically not an issue if your handlebar is even, but my mountain bike handlebar isn't. Not a fault of the product and thus it will keep the 5-star rating.

Loads of vibration makes it difficult to read

Perfect PeakDesign system. This universal mount is useful when you want to attach it temporarily to a bike. It wobbles more than the fixed one but it works.

Great quality, good vibration damping, works well on bumpy downhill mountain bike tracks
