I have purchased four of these in past as I run two of these in a three filter Express Water system with a sediment filter as first filter. This filter completely cleaned up my water. I had a lot of orange rust/iron stains in tub, sinks, appliances, etc. as well as the sulphur smell. We have a deep water well and a lot of minerals in it. The water now has zero smell, zero taste and all staining is gone. This is at our river cabin that we use and also rent. We have had nothing but rave reviews on how great the water from renters. I also think the water feels softer when we shower. Not cheap as I wish it was less, but they seem to last six months no problem and beats running a water softener that will be destroyed in two years with our water condition.

I have the entire heavy metal 3 stage filter system. Have really bad well water with very high iron in the water. Installed this system Jan 21, system has worked great right up to June 1 21. No break through of red iron, but now loosing house water pressure across the 3 filters. 25 PSI difference now and can notice drop in pressure in showers. Filters must be getting loaded up, been 5 months with really bad water. I will take that. going to get on 5 month change out cycle and all we be great. Very impressed with the system, did not think I was going to even get 5 months so I am happy. Recommend purchasing if you have water problems.

Our well produces a lot of iron. We were tired of everything being orange. It helped clear up our water.

I've been buying these filters since 2018 and they used to work great. Lately they have not been able to fix my iron issue like they did in the past. I even tried a different brand then added a second one of these filters in line. Still no luck. That lead me to researchig that you can just buy the KDF85 material yourself and buy a refillable filter cartridge to make your own. Curiousity got to me so I opened up one of these filters and was shocked to find it full of just carbon, I didn't see a single bit of kdf material like it advertises to have. I do believe at one point they did contain kdf85 because before they removed iron in the past. I'll just be filling my own cartridges from now on, half the cost and I know what's inside.

I buy these regularly to remove large amounts of iron dissolved in water. It works great and levels are negligible after this single filter. They seem to come with a "refillable" canister that I have been recycling into activated charcoal filters.

We use this as the 3rd filter in our whole home 3 filter system, and it definitely is the filter that makes the most noticeable difference in terms of chlorine taste reduction. The standard carbon based filters work well with most odors, but these KDF are exceptional and very long lasting.

L'installation s'est faite sans problème. Pour l'instant, l'eau est claire et n'a plus d'odeur, mais c'est l'avenir qui nous dira si la capacité annoncée tient ses promesses. Premier ressenti positif !

these KDF filters seem good have some weight to them close to 7lbs if I remember right I don't have iron or any heavy metal I know of in my city water so I can't say how well they work for that but seem to be a good addition just incase since I have four bb canisters to fill
