Quality tip for a great price
This fits perfectly on my Hakko soldering iron. The quality of this tip is much better than any of the generic tips at hobby shops or on Amazon. This tip heats evenly and performs well while soldering. I have not seen much oxidation on this tip after several uses and I am very happy with its performance!

What can I say, it’s a genuine Hakko
Simply the best! Even though 1 of these costs as much you can get a pack of 10 knock offs for you get what you pay for and it’s worth every penny. I’ve never burned out one of these tips.

Four Stars
Does what it's supposed to do. It works well for anything down to 0603

Hacked my portable weller iron.
I have a small 25w weller sp23l thats portable and sits in my tool box. Ya it's not big but the weller tips for this thing suck. I didn't want to buy another portable iron so i did some research and found people playing with different tips. I bought a new Weller MT1 tip and pressed this tip over it and believe me or not i've done a dozen small solder projects with this tip and it still looks newish. Takes a little longer to get to temp but for what i am doing it's ok.

Great for dense SMD work
If you like desoldering SMD components like 0805 and 0603-size diodes and transistors with other components nearby, as well as certain surface-mount items like USB receptacles and capacitors - the DL12 is a nice go-around for normal SMD work. Not too big like the Hakko hoof tips and not too small or clunky (the conical tips) to solder things in. For even denser boards like those found in mobile phones and slim-sized communications equipment, go out and buy the Hakko bent tips. They work wonders on them dense boards.

Soddisfatto dell'acquisto.

As far as I can tell this is a genuine part. Quick delivery

This is my new favourite tip. Much nicer than the default tip for SMD work.

Great quality tip. I've been using the same tips that came with my budget soldering station for the last few years, and they work, but they're now so corroded that solder doesn't want to stick to them. I decided to try something higher quality, and the difference is apparent. Even under visual inspection, there is more mass and thicker walls on the hako tip, which definitely lends to more even and better Heat distribution. I'm glad I started with cheap tips and taught myself proper technique, because now soldering is incredibly easy.
