8 quarts?
I can't speak to the quality because I haven't used this yet, but I am surprised at the size. It says 8 quarts. The bottle next to it is 2 quarts 3.6 oz. Maybe there is a difference between dry quarts and liquid. Anyway, I expected more.

Excellent product. Fine grade with good water retention.
This is an excellent brand of vermiculte. It is a fine grade, similar to that found in most Loews or home depot stores. If you are looking for the course chunky stuff for aeration I would find a different type. I used this to add water retention to a soil and it worked perfectly.

It does what it is supposed to do....
Vermiculite keeps the soil moist and is a superior medium for seed starting. This did just that.... and we have had no negative issues with Black Gold products.

Used this verm for brown rice flour substrate. Worked out very nicely

This vermiculite didn't hold any moisture. It's probably not even vermiculite.
