Here’s what I learned, it’s very very quiet. I only used the brown and blue wires only very simple to connect as the photo shows in the add, the two black wires I taped up individually and taped back along the side of the power wire. Also place the pump higher than the collection tank by one foot. I also bought 10 feet of of hose to pump the water out. The size of the hose I bought is 3/8 od x 1/4 id it works perfectly. I hope this helps anyone out there.

I purchased this pump after buying another "very quiet" pump that turned out to be unacceptably noisy. This pump was installed behind a hatch inside a wall and has been working well so far. I can barely hear when it runs.

Works really well, my portable ac in heat mode will fill the water tank up fairly quickly, and with the outlet being at the bottom, gravity is not an option to have my water flow out. With this, it fills up as a small tank, and empties it out into a bottle. Love this item

The electrical hookup instructions suck for most dyi persons - what I did - for a straight AC power hookup you connect the brown wire and blue wire (on power/signal cable) each to a pole on the AC male plug provided - and then you wire together (twist-together the stripped ends with mini wire nut - not provided - and then secure/wrap with black electrical tape to make sure the wire nut does not come loose) the other two black wires (in order to close the circuit) - again the pump seems to be good, compact, quiet (once water gets to it). This set up will then allow you to plug the pump in to an AC outlet and the pump will be controlled by the provided float-switch hookup. Best of luck.

instructions aren't the best but between youtube, and trial and error, the install is easy and the pump works great. you likely won't use either of the black wires. the brown and blue are the power wires for the pump. Attach one to each load wire on your mini split and that should power your pump when the water reservoir reaches the set point. good luck
