This is a nice spoon. Period. This is a nice spoon to keep with you when you are cooking, not really for stirring etc. (but you could) I use mine to take tastes and place them on another spoon. Plus it is beautiful!

I needed a spoon that wasn’t a serving spoon or a soup spoon. This is the perfect size to mix instant whatever in a medium sauce pan and spoon out small portions. This is nicely weighted, well made (no mold creases, imperfections, etc.) and fits nicely in the hand. It has maintained it finished after a number of runs through the dishwasher.

My son-in-law is a great cook and so very happy for this gift I purchased for him. I am sure he will enjoy it daily

Highest quality, in keeping with their knives, not too big, not too small, cools every thing before testing, like I said the spoon that every chef needs.

I collect spoons. This one looks nice And is somewhat sturdy however it is terrible unbalanced. Not really what I would expect from a spoon at this price point. Buy yourself a Grey Kuns spoon if you are in the market for a good spoon. Dalstrong does have many other nice products but this spoon should be passed on in my opinion

So, as said before, Father's Day is coming up and my budding chef Dad needed some implements. This was billed as a tasting spoon when I first saw it in Vine and I thought "perfect, just what he needs". My dad's very fastidious about taste and loves to take little tastes all the time and correct as needed. He's a perfectionist at heart so I figured I'd get him a heavy duty stainless steel spoon to do his tasting with. A nice, neat little spoon to tuck into his apron. When it arrived, I thought it was a canoe. The description previously didn't mention how BIG it was and the photos had it in scale to its box so it was tough to tell. Either that or maybe I didn't check well enough. I figured "tasting spoon, gotta be small". But when it came...this thing is a beast. It's a heavy duty spoon alright. It could double as a hubcap or a buckler for LARPing. That being said...it's a pretty nice spoon. It's got some good weight to it which I like as thin, weak spoons have no place in a serious kitchen. This could taste a stock and then blend it. It could butter-baste a steak and then flip it. It's not a tasting spoon, really, it's more of a utility spoon that can be used to taste things. And, despite its size...I found it kinda growing on me. Sure, it was big...but it was a burly workhorse spoon that didn't take no guff. It was the Gordon Ramsay of kitchen spoons except it wasn't secretly a big softie. This thing had the gravitas that a chef deserves. So I highly recommend it. Just don't tell my dad about my spoon. I'll be embarrassed and probably have to part with it if he found out about it.

It’s hard to buy something that my very picky son who is a chef gloves. The spoon was perfect. I had the right balance in his hand and he likes the company

As a chef in greater Houston, I've used this on the regular, especially well with blue crabmeat hollandaise. Perfect execution.

Not what I was expecting. I was looking for a tasting spoon to put In my arm of my chef coat. but that was a over kill for size. It’s good for string but I wouldn’t recommend for tasting
