The awning came in very quickly once ordered. Like another reviewer, the rail where the connection to the L-bracket is needed slight filing to be smooth. Otherwise, all of the hardware was accounted for and works extremely well. Held up well in the wind due to the heavy duty stakes. The ropes are more than sturdy enough to keep both the base portion and the extension secure. Most of all, it was easily adjustable so that blocking the sun at any time of day was a piece of cake. This awning is a fraction of the price of most like it and provides an identical experience. PS Fully water proof.

I actually order this unit twice. Booth times were a delivery fail and sent them back. The product is really heavy and the ups delivery guys must be really weak in my area/ route. The box was completely crushed and open on one end. The mounting hardware lost along the way. The length is 6'2" and is the right length for an unlimited jeep. Looks heavy duty frame but the canvas bag didn't survive the delivery trip. It had holes in them and i don't want it to rot away with rain water. Pics of first and second delivered items.

Just unboxed the mesh enclosure and the 6.5x6.5 canopy with free extension. The shipping speed on this was spectacular. It listed as shipped within minutes, and was on my doorstep in Anchorage Alaska in 2 days. The awning seems well-made, with a thick black pvc-coated cover. The zippers look self-repairing, legs and hinges look strong and it comes with a package of extremely sturdy looking mounting hardware, even a double-ended wrench. The shocker, though, was the color. It is a deep dark Hershey bar chocolate kinda brown with a black backing. Oh, my... that's going to be a treat on those hot days overlanding in the desert southwest, which is what I'm gearing up for. (Oddly enough, the hardware storage bag is the right color!) Still stunned... and still debating on whether or not to return it. I'll update this if/when I mount it on my truck.

This awning is so much better than I expected. Attached it to my 4 Runner OEM rack, which required drilling into the cross bars. I took it out to Burning Man, and it provided the perfect amount of shade, and there were ZERO issues in the wind. The included stakes held it and the wall panel perfectly. No issues with catching wind or sailing away like all those ez-ups. I bought this over the ARB or other brands because this one includes a wall, rather than selling it as an added option. I was not disappointed, and I plan on using it for many more adventures!

First off I thought I was ordering an ARB brand awning but I guess I was wrong. The supplied L brackets don’t work with my prinsu roof rack (they don’t allow the awning to sit high enough to clear the rack easily) so I had to order different brackets separately. Also the channel bolts that fit into the Prinsu rack don’t fit into the awning channels and the supplied bolts don’t fit into the brackets I got so I had to grind down the rounded bolt heads to fit into the awning channels. It was a bitch to get it on the rack by myself but I managed. Needed help to set the awning up so it’s for sure not as easy to set up as the description makes it to be. The product itself seems to be sturdy but I’ve only tried it out in my garage. 3 stars is my vote.

I’m really happy with this. It took about an hour to install but I purchased longer and larger bolts, lock washers and nuts so I could drill through and mount it to my factory luggage rack bars on my 2013 SR5. It’s very sturdy and well built. Having a second person is a huge help when mounting the awning to the bracket. For the cost it competes or even beats the “big brand” awnings like ARB. I’m very happy.

broken leg !! missing side shade awning missing all the bolts to install aluminum is tampered Clearly is a return item Don’t know what else is missing or damage I was looking forward to get this installed considering all the good reviews So disappointed .....

Material seems sturdy the cover is thick and is quality. The cover seems good as well. Problem was no string or the stakes or any screws or brackets came with 2 that I purchased. So be prepared to get crafty and shop for extra parts to tie down and mount to your top rack set up. For the price I would think it would come with all these things. There is a picture showing these things on Amazon but none comes with the product. Very misleading.

Missing all hardware on delivery. Product seems great, good materials. But can you please send the hardware without a reorder and return?

I ordered this for my 84 Volkswagen van, but sadly it was not long enough to mount properly on the gowesty awning mounts. But it fits amazingly on my buddies 3rd gen Toyota Tacoma, his only note was that it is awkward to set up with one person, but I believe that is standard for awnings.

J'ai acheté ce produit qui semble super mais un coup a l'installation premièrement, les instructions sont imprimées sur une feuille en noir et blanc où l'on a de la difficulté à bien discerner ce que l'on doit faire. D'autant plus que les instructions sont seulement en anglais. Ensuite, les pièces ne sont pas les bonnes. Il semble manquer aussi des pièces nécessaires que j'ai dû aller acheter dans un magasin et pour finir les pièces nécessaires afin de fixer le auvent sur les brackets à l ne sont pas les bonnes pièces. Donc pour cette raison je donne seulement 3 étoiles au produit

Now this is definitely brown and not Tan but lucky for the seller i like brown better. The fabric is sturdy the square bolts slid into the top rail of my roof rack perfectly Takes a few tries to get used to how to position the legs etc as you are setting up so it doesn’t fall over right away but overall took me less than 3 mins to open up. Overall for the price paid this is a great result

The awning appears solid but I am unable to mount it with the included hardware. The square bolts in the photo are too large to slide into the awning channels. No hardware stores in town carry anything like this so unless I use a round washer (which seems unsafe since the weight of the awning is carried by these bolts) I can’t see how this will work. Happy to edit my review should the seller provide a solution.
