Great quality shoulder rest and fit was perfect. The adjustability was great and it was very easy to install.

being new to violin, this is a nice accessory...
I recently bought a Yamaha SV250 electric violin. While it seems flimsy on it's own, it really isn't. It's just made to have a bit of give & take, making it more ergonomic, & light weight. It seems a little thin though. I saw a video review, where someone added a similar item to theirs & thought, that, that would be a great addition, so, I took the plunge & ordered me one of these. Interestingly, it seems like it would make the overall bulk of the violin too much, but... indeed, it makes it just right (for me)It's adjustable, so, you can get a variety of angles, but, in my opinion, a little adjustment goes a long way, & if you adjust it in the wrong direction (for you), you'll notice it right off. I have it as tight as it will go, but, loosened a little on the chest side. Only like ยผ", but, the ยผ" makes a nice difference. Overall, it takes away the flimsy feel of the thin rails of the SV250. so, the violin feels more robust. They are comfortable, a lot more comfortable than the violin by it's self. I feel like it's easier on the neck, because the chin angle doesn't have to bend so much. You get a better grip & in my opinion, a more comfortable grip, so, you can do it longer w/o feeling stressed. Maybe the last paragraph is the important part for many. If it does that for you, than you'll be more inspired to play more. Also - easy to use & set up...

Super comfortable and looks like real wood!
Iโd just like to say that this shoulder rest is awesome. Itโs shape is the best feature, contouring perfectly to my shoulder (this could be different for some with a different shoulder, but somehow I feel like this is one of those โone size fits allโ kind of deals). The shoulder rest my violin came with was straight all the way across and not very comfortable. I couldnโt even let go of the fingerboard without it falling. Thatโ changed with this shoulder rest. It helps that it look like real wood even though itโs just a print. All in all, itโs very comfortable, padded well, and sturdy. Since I put it on about 2 months ago, it hasnโt moved out of place even once. Well worth the price. Definitely recommend!

Got it for my Yamaha YEV-104 Pro.
Got this for my Yamah YEV 104 Pro. Didn't want to blow $150 on a shoulder rest and I was worried a little about whether it would fit. It fits fine. It feels fine. I'd give more feedback, but honestly, I feel like it does what it was designed to. It's pretty cheeaply built--just plastic--but it's functional and does what it's supposed to. It's a shoulder rest that shoulder rests.

odd sizing
this shoulder rest is comfortable and nice to play with - if you can assemble it. the screws on the grips do not easily go with the holes in the top of the rest. luckily i finally got the grips into two of the holes and it fit my violin, but it took a long time and i almost gave up and returned.

Quality and comfort......
I have tried many shoulder rests because of a short neck, prominent collar bone, and other issues which make it difficult for me to be comfortable while practicing. I had tried rests similar in shape to the Fiddlerman Carbon Fiber Shoulder Rest, but they slid easily off my shoulder. I decided to try the Fiddlerman rest because of the sponge padding, and I'm glad I did, because it really made a difference in comfort. Also, I can adjust it low enough for my short neck and use a low chin rest. This rest is very attractive and looks well made. I find that the feet are easy to adjust to the bouts, and they stay put. Everyone has their own unique anatomy to work with, but after many trials, I find that with this shoulder rest I can practice longer without even thinking about slippage and discomfort.

Shape is opposite the ergonomic Everest/Kun curve
I wanted to buy an Everest, but for some reason they only seem to have colored shoulder rests in 4/4 size, not the black I was looking for. So I thought I'd give this rest a try. I failed to realize the shape is actually the opposite if the comfortable Everest/Kun shape I like. I think the photo shows exactly what I mean - the Everest (top) has a simple curve, while the Fiddlerman actually curves in the opposite direction. It's super uncomfortable. In addition, it felt a lot cheaper than the Everest model; thinner material, and the feet were noticeably looser when I screwed them into the shoulder rest. I'm returning this product. :(

Looks nice but not very comfortable
Very little padding and it falls off a lot. I would return but I accidently threw away the box it came in. I could just have a weird neck bit I'm always sore after using it and theres always a red spot on the tip of my collarbone no matter how I adjust it. It works and maybe it'll fit you better.

Flimsy
I really don't recommend this shoulder rest , it is quite thin and has a pointy feeling once fitted in violin,it is a flimsy loose one, it is a sad purchase
