This film works fairly well. It was meticulously applied after careful review of the instructions and watching some videos. It protected the main area of the shoe pretty well but did roll up on the back after some friction. I did not consider the film to be slippery but was not grippy. The bottom of my shoes would definitely have been in worse condition without it.

Buyer beware!! This tape is extremely sticky. Louboutin sole is more than just a paint. The 3M tape is a paint tape. The sole is constructed of leather with a unique paint coat - that’s why they required you to try on the shoe on carpet. Louboutin is not made as an everyday (a pair you wear often) shoes. If you decide to go forward with this tape, be very careful of applying it because again, it’s very sticky. Depend on how you trace your heel, you most likely will have excess tape that needs trimming. To remove the tape, you need to heat it (hair blow dryer) to loosen the glue. Last tip: just because you have this tape on your sole, it [the sole] is still sensitive to hard surfaces. Don’t immediately go running, stomping, or carelessly walking on all sort of surface conditions because it will damage your sole regardless. This is PAINT TAPE. It does not do more to protect than just maintaining the coat from scrapes. Good luck!

Amazing for red bottom heels. I used these for every event and they did an amazing job. Keep in mind that if you step on a rock they might damage the red sole anyways but you won’t notice until you remove this sticker.

These are terrible!! my first pair of red bottoms I bought I actually had no clue the red came off, after a bunch of reviews and research I learned very quickly that I needed protection. I bought the zigzag tablet screen protector and it is still protecting a year later. I got a new style of red bottoms and seen this, I thought why not give it a try. TERRIBLE IDEA!!!! It goes on and slides all over the place you can never seem to get the bubbles out, so then I thought well maybe it needs time to dry. I placed them on and let it sit over night, should be good right? NO!! First of all it makes your shoes a death trap, I couldn't walk on carpet at all and it literally was making the foot of the shoe slide pulling away from the heel. It was a set up to ruin my expensive heels. I pulled it right off, the only good thing is that it didn't take any color off when removing. I would not buy this ever again and TBH should of been able to get my money back, it is terrible. I am an active red bottom shoe buying/wearing woman, I recommend the zig zag tablet protector.
