Usually, 100% cotton towels are very absorbant. These are similar to rubbing polyester across your skin. They are soft, but leave one feeling wet after showering.

Falling apart after 1 use and 1 wash We bought these towels for my Mother in law visiting us last week, she had one shower with the towel and we just washed them and towel is falling apart. Very disappointing

Nice set, look good and are soft and absorbent and a good size. Be sure to wash alone because of excess dye when first purchased. There was a noticeable amount of lint left on the dryer lint filter but only one wash so far. Satisfied with the purchase.
