I purchased three of these boxes. I had used a similar box about 15 years ago to get rid of snakes and they worked great BUT these boxes only had two very small strips of glue inside. I put one on the porch and caught a snake but before my husband could get to it (about 20 minutes) the snake worked its way free and was gone. The next day same thing happened with the next box. I did manage to catch a small bird, but he also worked his way out and flew away!! Total waste of money and time!! Very disappointed!!

Not sure what I was hoping to get; I was told by friends not to purchase this type of item. when it arrived it was just a flat cardboard form with separate adhesion strips. It was very easy to create the box by folding the cardboard and folding the few instruction. Then install adhesion strips on the inside. The problem is there is nothing to attract the snake to enter the box. The box was located inside the basement of our home but has not caught the snake. So at this time I do not know if it will ever work and if the adhesion strips will hold the snake. Not sure how long this will even be effective and work.

Found snake in basement. Put out Snake Guard and caught it after the second night. Easily released the snake far from home.

At least once a year one of our pets will have a run in with a copperhead in our yard. After the attack, I place a trap along the outside wall of the house on both sides of the fenced area and within a day, the copperhead has always found its way into trap. I was skeptical about this product based on previous reviews, but if you follow the directions and do a little research on where snakes are likely to move through, this product will work for you. If you plan on just sticking it in the middle of the yard or garage, you will probably not have any success. I only gave it 4 stars because I did see a fairly large rat snake scoot right through!

It worked and easy to use. Once the snake crawled into the trap I took it to the nearby woods and poured some vegetable oil all over the snake and wiggled free. Money well spent!

Its just cardboard with a little glue. Should cost $5... didn't work, either. Had to throw away after 2 weeks because there were just a ton of bugs stuck to the glue. Complete waste of $.
