SmartWool Unisex Adult Thermal Merino Reversible Cuffed Beanie

So comfortable. Lightweight but warm enough. Soft, not tight, not loose. Top notch quality. I use it casually as in I don’t ski, climb mountains or hike across the arctic tundra. I use it to keep my ears warm when it’s cold out. It does so perfectly. Ya get what you pay for. Worth the money in my opinion.

Picked up this Smartwool Cuffed Beanie in black, and it’s quickly become my go-to hat for colder weather. The merino wool is super soft, not itchy at all, and does a great job keeping my head warm without overheating. It’s lightweight but still provides plenty of insulation, whether I’m out hiking, working outside, or just running errands. The fit is spot on—snug enough to stay put without feeling too tight. It also stretches a bit, so it should work for most head sizes. I like that it’s not overly bulky, so it’s easy to toss in a pocket when I don’t need it. Overall, this is a solid beanie that’s well-made and comfortable. If you want something warm, breathable, and durable, Smartwool knocked it out of the park with this one!

I’m reviewing to refute a reviewer who said that these hats aren’t reversible because of the sewn tag inside. They are reversible because the inside tag was sewn NOT with thread needed for the inside seam & it’s easy to remove if you take your time. Beautiful fabric, soft, not itchy. Best winter beanie I’ve ever had: comfortable, warm, washable, stretches so one size is fine, pretty.

This item is thin (a good thin), warm, and lightweight. Looks good, and is comfortable. Would buy it again for sure.

Warm, thin, low profile, fits comfortably but not too tight or loose. I can wear it with my eyeglasses and no pinching. I got the dark red and it looks nice. I have lots of Smartwool products from socks to running shirts and base layers. It’s just dependable and good quality. Update 1/25: we just had a couple of weeks of below-zero temps (just like everyone else in the US I guess!). This hat is incredible. It kept me warm even in the wind. With zero bulk, it stashes easily in my jacket pocket.

This beanie quickly became my favorite. I wear it unfolded, and it fits perfectly without feeling tight at all. I have alopecia, so comfort is very important to me, and the material feels incredibly soft against my skin. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and stays in place beautifully. I already plan on ordering more in other colors!

I have read a lot of negative and so-so reviews of this beanie and I disagree completely. I think it's fantastic. I bought it for a trip to Belgium in winter time and used it daily for 2 weeks. Provided enough warmth despite being fairly thin (I personally don't like bulky hats) and looks refined. It's held up well and easily slips into a coat pocket when you don't need it. I have a 7 1/4 inch hat size and it fits with zero problem. It's a beanie, NOT a full size sock hat. That's what beanie means folks. It covers enough of my ears to keep them warm, while maintaining slim proportions. I think it's the best overall beanie I've owned. A+

Questo cappello è molto lungo e riesce a coprire anche le orecchie. Il risvolto è solido e non scivola. Il materiale? Beh che dire. Lana Merino 100%. Nessun prurito, nessun fastidio, nessuna pressione sulla fronte. Nessun effetto elettrostatico. La trama del tessuto è molto fitta, sembra cotone. Dopo 10 minuti ci si scorda di averlo. Mai più senza!

I already had one of these cos it’s the best. Light, close fitting, perfect for cold weather activities. Wash occasionally to keep fresh. This new one slightly longer which is ok.

I can see why YouTube's "TOGR Luke" wears the Beanie / Toque so much. Excellent quality, as expected, and an essential backpack item no matter what the activity. Highly recommend and definitely on my "Go Bag" and "Emergency" Preparedness Checklists for whenever those SHTF events arise. I may have to acquire more...
