I received the same 'sponge wand' pictured on Amazon. (I didn't picture the 7 spare sponges.) Notice the gray screw cap removed from the end, the same as pictured. To address all the negative reviews about leaking from one end or the other: the screw cap must be air-tight or soap will leak through the threads and cheap soap will definitely leak from the sponge! Pictured is a roll of cheap Teflon tape. And you can see it wrapped around the threads. I wrapped around the threads about 15 circles, maybe more. No worries, the cap will definitely screw on. And with proper Teflon tape use, it will not leak from the cap. Additionally, this secure seal helps prevent soap from leaking from the sponge. (basic physics) I recommend using quality, concentrated dish saop like; Dawn Platinum, https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BBQ8S9VK?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title And Teflon tape for $0.69; Eastman 1/2 Inch x 260 Inch Teflon Pipe Thread for Gas Lines, 3.5 mil, 50011, on Amazon. Other thoughts... There is No Way the sponge is coming off the wand. There is a gray plastic clip the needs to be depressed to disengage. How long do they last? Depends on use. For us, about 10 days to 2 weeks cuz we don't have a dishwasher machine. With a little Teflon tape, this is the best dishwashing soap wand we've ever used. (lots of years. :)

I love the replaceable scotch pride, heavy duty, heads for the scrub brush. Fills easily with dish soap. Last fairly long. But it’s much cheaper to buy this than to buy it in the store. Good bang for your buck.

The wands last forever and you just keep switching out heads. Switching heads is easy and filling up the wand is easy. Or you can use an automatic soap dispenser to just put soap on the sponge as needed. Don't put them on your counter or they'll leak soap and water, but otherwise they're perfect dish helpers. I intend to keep using them unless robots do my dishes.

I keep this dishwand kit on auto-ship because it is our go-to for washing dishes. The sponge heads are tough enough to scrub without damaging our pans and I love that I can easily swap them out when they get worn or gross. The only downside is that sometimes the soap leaks out unexpectedly, so just be careful where you leave it. Other than that, it keeps my hands out of the mess and makes dish duty a little easier. Super convenient and a staple in our kitchen.

Perfection in the form of a sponge that soaps it self. Tried the Vileda, it just leaked every time, and made scrubbing near impossible thanks to the almost oil slick effect of the soap oozing onto the handle. This is the one you need.
