PIONEER TS-WX1210AM - Powerful 12-inch Active Subwoofer with Built-in Amplifier, 1300 Watts Peak Power, and Compact Design for Deep Bass

Gave this to my son for Christmas, and he installed it in his Saturn. The battery in the Saturn is actually in the back, so that made hooking this up super easy, barely an inconvenience. He and a buddy had it hooked up in no time, and it sounds amazing! He installed it in the trunk, and it sounds perfect when riding in the vehicle. He only has it about half way turned up because it's pretty powerful. It matches the inside speakers perfectly and makes all the songs sound better. He didn't even use the little installation L brackets that come with it. It's really stable just sitting in his trunk and doesn't slide around. Having the built in amp saved so much time, both in installation and in having to shop around and find an amp to match the watts of the speaker. For this price, I was worried that it might not be powerful enough, but it sounds fantastic, with good punchy bass and not that overwhelming booming bass you hear in other vehicles. Now I want one in my car!

I have this on my Nissan versa, the factory unit isn’t all great. But I wanted some bass in my car. I just bought an rca adapter and spliced into the speakers, so the bass is loud enough to make the whole car shake and I’d say you could hear the bass a good 20 feet away. The bass could get a little too much (to sound disordered) but also I have paper speakers so that is on me as well as a nasty factory head unit. But once you get the right tune it sounds clean and solid. The grill feels solid and protective. You can’t beat a known brand for under $200 which comes with the built in amp, enough wire to run to battery and the remote turn on wire, all you really need is rca cables and you’re set. I’m pretty satisfied with how it sounds. Great budget sub! You can’t go wrong with pioneer.

I got this in used “Good” condition for $150 I didn’t notice any wear or tear. Everything seemed perfect. Took less than an hour to install and it’s been quite a few years since I did this. Very simple. Good sound quality. If other reviews say it’s not loud enough it’s because they are simps. It’s one 12 so don’t expect to hear it miles away. Put in the back seat of my truck. Left room for 2 people on the bench seat. Appearance wise it’s dope. Love that the words are actually raised and stitched. The red and black matches my interior. Does not move around while driving even without using mounting brackets. Hopefully it LASTS 🤞

Surprisingly, this sub hits hard! I listen to metal/rock music, lots of fast double bass hits and heavy riffs. This package added exactly what I wanted and needed in my truck! It's like my own private concert hall now! It's a bit of a tight fit in a regular cab dodge ram 1500 but the amount of space left behind the seats after install provides enough airflow that the enclosure breathes well when in operation. Good quality, good sound, hits hard and fast, built in amp provides more power than I am able to use while running very cool.

I used this for a solid 8 months before deciding that I had wanted my cargo space back. It’s a great speaker that is super tunable. It’s stupid easy to install and looks great. I removed and sold it to an ex-coworker. It’s been another 10 months since then and my coworker let me know that they’re still kicking. I definitely recommend these!

This isn't a shake the windows and set off car alarms sub. This is a good bass for the people INSIDE your vehicle sub. The amp is underpowered for the sub (so you don't blow the sub) so it's fairly idiot proof. The power cable included works, but it's not very thick at all. I bought an amp install kit from Wal Mart for a thicker gauge power wire. Pros - good bass, not crazy overpowered, simple, easy, and hard to blow the speaker. Cons - thin power wire, speaker guard is crazy thick for behind a truck seat, and the amp could be more powerful and still not risk blowing the sub.

super easy to install. tuning is even easier and it sounds great. ive had it installed for about two weeks and in considering getting a different amp for it. the "1300 Watt" is only the subs rating the amp thats built into the box has a MAX watt of only 350 so the sub is pretty under powerd in my opinion, i have very picky taste in sound especially when it comes to bass and i can definitely hear discrepancies between this sub/amp pairing. on a side note since ive hooked up this box ive been having serious issues with my vehicles electronics. specifically my anti theft system. my car will randomly put itself in lockdown mode while im driving and i wont be able to roll windows down or lock/unlock the doors and gauges dont work. ive had it looked at and im told it may be due to the amplifier. nothing wrong with wiring setup. pretty annoying not being able to get out/in my car sometimes but at least the sub hits good. definitely doesn't rattle the ground and actually cant hear too much from outside the car but definitely fills the inside of the car quite nicely.

I originally got a small rockville underwear subwoofer for my truck and it wasn’t nearly enough for what I wanted. I later got this subwoofer hoping for more bass. It did not disappoint it has good bass shakes the mirrors if you want it to and looks good. Don’t know about the life of it but so far so good.

I was skeptical of the size of power wire it comes with. I’ve had it turned up to abou 75% gain and bumping for hours. Has yet to overheat. Sounds amazing and is perfect to fill what my stock sound system was missing.

This is probably the cheapest Sub and amplifier I could find that was not a small under seat version. It does not provide the best quality, but for the price point I could not ask for anything better. Would buy again

I installed it in the trunk of my vw cabrio. Had to turn the base down a bit because it vibrated the trunk. It added a much bigger better sound. Well worth the money instead of trying cheap ones that sound horrible.

Decent powered sub. Not going to enter any competitions with it, but its lows are great in my pickup truck. And with my speaker upgrades from factory, it all sounds awesome. You can’t go wrong. I bought one of those under-seat powered subs and this blows it away.

There’s always going to be 1 star reviews and normally you think, “there is so many good reviews, I doubt what they are saying will ever happen to me”. I am the living example of that person. This was THE BIGGEST waste of money. I got it professionally installed, even though I could have done it myself. It worked perfectly fine for 2 days, then it just keeps cutting in and out. I checked all the wiring back to the deck everything was perfectly fine. The speaker itself just keeps cutting in an out without loss of power or shorting. I wasn’t asking it to do much, I just wanted a bit of bass. Even when the volume was at its lowest it continues to cut in and out constantly. Do yourself a favour and just skip past this, it’s not worth the time, money and hassle. If I had a time machine, I’d go back just before I clicked add to cart.
