Why is the packaging different when you buy one package than if you buy 2 bags? Is it from different sources?

I do not know. I always buy two and they always look like this packaging. I love this coffee and it smells divine when grinding it, too. Add a little 1/2 & 1/2 in the morning and you have hot mocha ice cream ;-) ENJOY!

what is the differance between this Joses Vanilla coffee, and the other Joses Vanilla coffee?

It could be just the packaging. I would like to find out it if there is a difference. I have ordered this package and received a package with a different outside. However, I have never had both packages at once to taste test. You could ask Joses on their web site.

Does this come in DeCaf?

Don't know. Never considered ordering it that way....just drink in the morning ;-)

Do these coffee beans have an oily film on them? (Wanting non-oily beans for cold brew)

This is excellent coffee. When the bag is first opened, it does appear that the beans have a Slight oily film on them. However, I have noticed it disappears within a day or two after the initial opening. I always thought this was natural moisture on the beans Caused by the fresh beans “breathing” in the air sealed bag. I have never tried brewing cold brew with them. I can just recommend this coffee as being an excellent Medium brew coffee. Never bitter.
