Finally One Thats Bright Enough!!!!
I use this in a DSDplus FL portable setup and needed a screen to hook to the computer that was in the back of the car so I could hang it up front to see it. I bought one of those raspberry pi screens thats about the same size before I got this one. The old one was too bright at night and way too dim in the day... This one is perfect! Especially since you can adjust the brightness, it gets plenty dark and plenty bright! The brightness adjust works fine from about 25 to 75. When you go over 75 you may have to adjust some of the other settings as well as if you go under 25 but itโs definitely dim enough for night and bright enough in almost direct sunlight in the car up by the dash The speakers work fine up to about 70-80 then after that they start distorting but pretty good quality nonetheless! The stands screw wouldnโt go in, guessing it was too big for the stand but I didnโt need the stand but if you needed it maybe could get the right size screw? The picture quality is great also! My last small screens colors were all off a bit but this one is crystal clear and the colors are on point!

Solid little monitor with great build for the price
This worked perfectly as a second screen for my setup. The build quality is sturdier than I expected, and the refresh rate is smooth enough for light video or console use. The setup was quick and easy to use right out of the box. The viewing angle is wide and clear, making it easy to glance at without constantly adjusting the screen. Iโve moved it around quite a bit, and itโs held up well. Good durability for something this compact.

Absolutely Fantastic Screen, but Beware the Power Cord.
The monitor itself is surprisingly good. It's the type of thing that'd be right at home in a camera set-up. It is surprisingly good quality for its size, comes with a mount, and is in general versatile. Now, I don't know if this is just a quirk of HDMI cables, though the one it comes with keeps slipping out of the port on my computer at the slightest touch. That isn't much of a problem, though; I've found a way to secure it a bit better, and I've had zero other issues. What is a problem, and the only reason I didn't give the item five stars, is the power cord it comes with; this power cable is the worst thing I have ever had the displeasure of using. The product doesn't come with a usb-to-outlet adapter, and since I didn't have an extra one to use for it, I plugged it into one of my computer's usb ports. It worked well... until it stopped working, and I realized the USB port I had it plugged into was burnt out and rendered completely useless. So, I went out and bought a USB-to-outlet adapter to use instead. I was able to use the monitor again, and everything was fine... until the cord itself started to fall apart. The plastic housing around the USB end fell apart and seems to be held together entirely by friction, and the USB plug itself doesn't seem to be soldered too well to the board within, so it frequently wobbles and disconnects if gravity decides to pull on it a little too hard that day, or god forbid if something brushes up against the cord. Outside of the power cord, the monitor is awesome though. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it; just take a look around and see if you can find a higher quality cord to purchase along with it. Also, just be aware that it is possible to burn an image into the screen if you leave it on for too long / at too bright of a setting. I unfortunately managed to do this on day one, though this seems to be a general rule for any monitor you might use and the fault is entirely on me.

Baby second monitor
This is a great purchase, worth every penny. It has great picture quality for the size. It was simple to set up and use. A very handy second monitor.

Great for command line interface via VGA
I have a Mini-PC running PFSense. My "custom" Mini-PC appliance only includes 4 ethernet ports, USB and VGA with no digital (HDMI) connections. Upgrading my own PFSense custom appliance to the latest build can occasionally be a pain and I find myself reinstalling PFSense rather than upgrading. That, I and I no longer have a monitor with VGA. This 7-inch monitor includes an analog input and is perfect for my application. I can attach VGA cable from Mini-PC to this 7-inch monitor, change to the analog input from the monitor interface and access the PFSense CLI. I rarely need to access the physical device like this, but my next upgrade (reinstall) to PFSense 2.7.2 is imminent. This monitor just makes it easy.

Versatile display once you replace the AC adapter, but has very noticeable image retention
UPDATE JANUARY 2021: I've removed another star, as both of my units demonstrate image retention after a short period of time. It eventually fades, but it's irritating when using it as a computer display. TL;DR: This is a perfectly fine display unit with a nice enough panel. Indeed, it's exactly what I was looking for: a versatile tiny screen that supports VGA, HDMI, and composite. But the AC adapter is crap, and the product experience overall is weird. The strange experience starts from the moment you open the box and discover nearly half of the manual is unedited excerpts from the Amazon listing's Q&A section. It only gets weirder when you realize some of the answers are *wrong*, including one that claims the monitor has no composite inputs. (It has two, and it even comes with the cable in the box.) Some other oddities I've found during operation: - The A/V cable looks like it's for video and stereo audio. It's not; only the red connector is for mono audio. The white connector is for the AV2 video input (which, of course, means AV1 and AV2 share the same audio input). This isn't documented anywhere in the user's guide, as far as I can tell. - When connecting a computer, the display reports itself as a 17" monitor, along with seemingly reporting resolutions it doesn't support via VGA. - The display has an auto aspect ratio setting, but choosing "Auto" displays NTSC composite signals in widescreen even though SD television is 4:3. That effectively means I can't use the auto setting. - The biggest drawback: the AC adapter, which lacks any UL or FCC markings, leaks noise into the unit, which causes the display to leak that noise out through its composite input. When connected to my AV equipment via composite, that causes bands of interference to show up in the picture throughout the connected AV system. Luckily, it's a standard 12V barrel plug, much like is used on many external hard disks, and there's no interference problem using one of those. I'd recommend this depending on your needs, but factor in the price of buying a proper AC adapter and the annoyance of image retention if you're going to have static UI elements on screen.

Very clear images and great sound effect
Worth the money, really cute and convenient! very great images and great sound. Would recommend to any friend who need a little monitor for raspberry pi, CCTV system or backward camera in cars.

Good for servers
What with the ongoing apocalypse, my work in IT means I've had to bring a disgustingly noisy little bastard of a server home to do some lab work. With it next to my desk the fans made me feel like I was going insane, so it's been banished to a bedroom. Annoyingly I sometimes need to plug a screen into the little Jet engined noise maker, which meant lugging a monitor upstairs to it. No more. This little screen is perfect for just checking on the status of a server, or fiddling around with the BIOS or something. The picture quality is pretty decent, and the text is JUST big enough to read during a bootstrap. Make no mistake, if you plan to do actual work on a server, you'll want a bigger screen, but just for doing some basics, this little thing is great. It's nice and small/light too. I will probably start taking it with me if doing field work, once the world goes back to some form of normal. I'm quite impressed with this little thing, and I'm glad I didn't spend any more money.

Surprisingly Good
This little guy is very cheap and was purchased as an "extra" monitor for a professional theatre production. The screen is surprisingly clear and whilst it is NOT a professional item in any way.. this was easy to set up and is easily good enough to use as a non-calibrated reference monitor. ONE WARNING - the screw for the very flimsy stand is not a standard camera mount screw - it looks like it is - but it's not. LOL
