I don't know if the Silver Lozenges can be purchased in larger family size. I would check on a container of SILVER Lozenges, see if they have a company address. Mail the company and ask them your question.

If it’s milk free what is the lactic acid derived from?

Lactic acid as an ingredient doesn’t normally come from milk. It can be found in milk, and is also naturally produced by the human body in the muscles and red blood cells during exercise. It is generally made by fermenting vegetables, beans, and other plants. It is possible that lactic acid ingredients can come from animal/dairy sources, but that is uncommon. I have attached the documentation on the lactic acid from our lozenge manufacturer. In section 14 of the attachment on Allergens, it states that it is milk protein free and lactose free. In section 15 on Declarations, it states that their lactic acid does not contain any animal ingredients, and that no animal ingredients are used in their processes. I hope this is helpful!
