Solid Mount – Fits Perfectly and Feels Secure
Installed this on my scope to mount a finder and it fit perfectly with no issues. The machining looks clean, and once tightened down it feels very secure with no wobble. Installation was quick and straightforward, and it lined up well with my existing setup. Definitely a reliable upgrade if you need an extra finder mount.

Works great
Use this to mount my aisair plus to Celestron evolution. The aisair plus came with the dove tail. I like this being red because it matches all my ZWO gear like the cameras

not made for a small diameter telescope tube
I think this is a very good dovetail mount but is not made to fit a small diameter telescope tube. I have a small diameter telescope with a 60mm objective. When I tried to mount this dovetail base on the tube the middle of the dovetail base touched the telescope tube and only let one side or the other touch the tube but not both. To get a stable mount I had to put rubber strips under each side so the middle of the base would not touch the telescope tube. The existing screw holes in the telescope tube were for slightly larger screws than this dovetail base was made for so I had to file out the screw slots in the base to accommodate the larger screws.

Sturdy base for finder scopes
Attaches securely to telescopes that are drilled and tapped. Screw slots are oblong to accomodate various spacing on different scope tubes.

After initially reading reviews on telescope eyepieces to upgrade from my factory plossls, svbony seemed respected. Ive purchased 6 eyepieces and a laser collimator from this company. After seeing the quality difference, i continue to purchase from this company. The dovetail mount is designed in a way that seems universal. I measured my finderscope bracket and made the purchase. Fits perfectly on my orion 10" skyquest xt! Will continue to buy from this company!
