Very practical

Good
Good as a trivet, but quite hard to clean with how small the honeycomb design. It's not necessarily hard to clean, but it takes a long time to air-dry since the small honeycombs retain and trap the water.

Also great for cat food mats to collect the splatters!
We bought these to put under the cats' food and water. Some cats are just messy and this not only captures the food and liquid, it keeps the bowls from moving around. They are so easy to clean, too. I have them under every bowl of water and the messiest cat's food bowls. Rather pricey for the purpose, but so far saving cleaning time and the carpet around the feeding areas! Most silicone food mats are way too large for cat bowls and for the spaces where we feed our cats. I think it would be great if the manufacturers of these items would consult on the ideal size for cat food. If they produced them for cats, I am sure I would have purchased these years ago.An ideal size would be a little less than two of these side-by-side and a little longer. No heat protection from hands
These work fine as trivets on which to place hot pans, but DO NOT use as a pot holder as they do NOT provide heat protection for your hands.

Decent but will burn your fingers
Great for what they are but you can feel the heat right through them ... they will burn your fingers if you don’t put down whatever you’re holding quickly

I like it and work best for something else because of the holes in it and thin silicon between don't hold pans too long you will get burned. Ouch!
