Lectura obligada
Esta es mi otra biblia para estudio, no sale de mi escritorio y muy seguido me encuentro releyendo capítulos cuando me encuentro algún problema técnico, debe estar en todos los libreros de productores.

Fantastic information
I'm still making may way through the book, but this is the best resource, and beats weeding through tons of bad information you can find online

Good information for mixers of a range of competencies.
Very well structured, with good information for mixers of all levels. I appreciate the views of other mixers quoted in the book that provide a deeper and varied perspective to demonstrate there is more than one way.

Not as good as I expected
This book takes a lot of its advice from techniques other award-winning mixers have used (including quotes and interviews by them). I am fairly new to mixing, and I was able to learn a lot of tips and tricks, but nothing life-changing.. my mixing process is still pretty similar to what it was before I read the book. One big thing to note is that the book goes into a lot of (in my opinion, superfluous) detail about "the old days" of mixing (techniques that are no longer used by anyone). It also has a lot of detail about mixing on analogue consoles (many people still do it this way but many of us might not care about this content). Furthermore, I noticed quite a few typos and formatting issues. Not that it ruined the book or anything, I just didn't expect this given that this is the 5th edition of the book already. So in conclusion, it's a good book with a lot of information but, in my opinion, not all of that information is useful. And the book could do with a bit of polish. You might prefer Mike Senior's 'Mixing Secrets for the Small Studio'.
