Great for big projects but hard to clean.

My wife and I used it to float an entire shell home. If you're confused as to how to load the tape, put it under the little roller near the tape, then on TOP of the mud so when you pull the tape out, the mud is on the bottom of the tape where you want it. Always clean it as soon as you're finished because it's hard to clean if you let the mud dry on the inside. We ranked it 4th on our list of the most important tools for finishing the house, behind the drywall lift, drywall screwgun, and drywall cutout tool (in order).
