Bme Ethan Solid Wood King Bed Frame with Diamond Headboard - Rustic & Mid-century Modern - Acacia Wood Platform Bed - Compatible with All Mattresses - No Box Spring Needed - Rustic Brown

I was hesitant to but such a cheap bed frame, but this has exceeded expectations. It is incredibly sturdy. Easy to put together. The design is lovely and rustic. We've had it for about 6 months and I waited to write a review because i thought something was going to break, but still doing really well! We love it.

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but had to hop on here to write one for this bed. I went back and forth on choices and read all the reviews and so glad I purchased this one. It’s beautiful and sturdy. I really love how well made it is for an Amazon purchase. The slates are nice also. They Velcro down so it stays in plays and there’s some padding for them also so it’s quiet and supportive. Just really impressed with this. We upgraded to a king and I was worried about getting something sturdy and cute. All pieces were included with some backup pieces. It was not difficult at all to put together. I’m a 39 year old women and I could do this by myself without extra tools and it didn’t take too long. The box was very, very heavy so I chose the option for delivery to put it in the room of my choice. I definitely recommend this. Once you open the packaging, the pieces are not as heavy to move around and put together but so hard to move full box and I think it weighed around 130lbs. I also like the storage space below. There is enough room to slide some shorter storage boxes. I ordered the brown one and just a heads up that it is a little bit lighter than the pictures but still very nice. Based on other reviews I think it will vary, some of them were a bit darker looking than mine. It doesn’t match very well with some of my other items but it’s good to know it’s wood and you can stain it if it’s an issue. I wish the little matching drawers they sold to match were not as pricey because might be hard to match it to your other pieces. Also be cautious about opening the slats. I used scissors to remove all the wrappping and they come in two different sets and are all connected so I accidentally cut one. It still fit well and was not a problem, but it was the only issue I had. I highly recommend if you want some stable, real wood, and well made that is not as pricey as the other beds. Overall it’s one of my favorite Amazon purchases so far.

I would give 5 stars if it would fit the adjustable base on the first try! The quality is amazing for the price. It's a very beautiful piece as well! We have a tempurpedic adjustable base and mattress and had to saw off the pieces of wood that hold up the slats in order for it to fit. It was a relatively easy fix, but based on the questions that the business answered previously about adjustable bases fitting, I was expecting it to fit. The other complaint I had was it took about two months for it to be delivered. Other than those two things, I'm very happy with the product!

I ordered a very expensive bed from a furniture store and it broke 5 times. My husband repaired it with a 2x4 and that broke as well BUT that bed broke bc the slats on the bottom connected in 3 little slats that were held on by tiny screws. This bed however has a lot of support! This bed has a metal bar with 3 little metal legs (maybe aluminum) that runs down the center of the bed and then it has a lot of wooden slats similar to the ikea bed slats BUT they Velcro on the sides to prevent them from sliding around. The headboard to this bed is about 2 ft shorter than our old bed BUT the quality itself is much nicer. My old expensive bed broke when my kids ran and jumped on it and even when I was rocking my baby on the edge of the bed one night, I am not over weight and was not rocking hard at all yet my old bed broke. So far this new bed has held up to rocking, kids jumping and extra curricular activities. This bed will not allow for box springs, so take that into account before buying. So far it doesn’t squeak and if it ever does I’ll update this post. It’s sturdy, doesn’t look cheap and it’s doing it’s job in which my old very expensive bed did not do. 10/10 for now. Again will update if anything goes wrong. Two thumbs up for the price. UPDATE: Almost a year later and this bed is still going strong. On occasion it will squeak but you can tighten the bolts back up and it stops squeaking, I’ve done this maybe 4 times in a year. This bed has not broken and is still holding up very well! I 110% recommend!!!

I ordered this bed in a King size and paid $449 + tax. Before purchasing, I shopped for a new bed for at least a full month - one that would be the base of my new master bedroom redecorate project. I was going for a Boho meets Scandinavian Mid Century Modern vibe. This bed met my needs and wants perfectly. I received the bed within 3-4 days of purchase. It came in a single, very long box that I had to help the UPS delivery driver bring up the stairs! It took my daughter about 2 hours to get it out of the box & fully assembled - all by herself. She said that the assembly was simple and straightforward. The bed is exceptionally sturdy. It's just the right amount of heavy... AND it's BEAUTIFUL!!! The value for this bed simply can't be understated! It really is a unbelievably good deal, and I am so happy I found it!

As parents, our bed mostly sees two completely exhausted adults collapsing into it and hoping no one asks us for a glass of water after bedtime. So it's safe to say this frame wasn't exactly being put through Olympic-level stress. Unfortunately, it started squeaking far sooner than expected. And not a cute little squeak... the kind that announces to the entire neighborhood that someone just rolled over to get comfortable. If you don't mind your next-door neighbors wondering what's going on every time you change positions, this bed frame has you covered. The good news is my husband is handy and was able to reinforce and rebuild part of the frame, and it's been much better since. If you're comfortable making a few modifications yourself, this could still work for you. If you're expecting a sturdy, quiet frame right out of the box, you may want to keep shopping.

Very pleasantly surprised! As a 53 year old woman, I put this together by myself while my husband was at work because I couldn’t wait to see it. Super easy to assemble and perfect for our guest bedroom!

Very sturdy. Well packaged. I bought used, like new, and it was. All parts labeled and carefully wrapped. Instructions were clear with labels and illustrations. The slats are exactly 3.5 inches apart and well secured to the frame. Delivery guys actually carried it into my house, which I very much appreciated! I took my time and still had it put together and the bed made in 2 hours by myself (age 67 female). One of the screws and the thingy it screws into just wouldn't work, but they included extras, and those worked perfectly. All holes were well drilled and matched up very nicely. I included pictures so you know how it looks with a 14" mattress and 4 pillows leaning against the headboard (under/behind the quilt). Still plenty of headboard sticking up above the pillows. Tip: put Super Sliders under all the feet before you put the slats on.

Sturdy, easy assemble, love it

I had this bed ordered twice, the first time, it did not arrive, the second time I was sent the wrong item entirely. It was a fight to get a refund. In theory the pictures look great, the price looks good…but to never actually receive the item leaves me leaving a low star review.
