I had hiccups for a week after surgery. Two doctors I went to didn't know what to do. I got this from Amazon on a 4 hour delivery that I paid an extra $2 for. It had my hiccups stopped immediately. I had to use every couple hours for the rest of the evening to keep them away, probably a dozen times. The key was that my hiccups stopped. A great invention. I will always keep one in my medicine cabinet.

I have R-CPD, the inability to burp, and a symptom of mine is extremely painful hiccups. I saw this on Shark Tank and wasn't expecting anything but figured it was worth a try since absolutely nothing had helped. I bought this thing months ago and conveniently never got the hiccups until today. On the rare occasion that I do get the hiccups, it's always a several hour ordeal that leaves my throat sore and my voice hoarse. Have never been able to find a "cure" that works every time. Finally got the chance to try out this straw today and I am please to find out that it works immediately. This seems like a good idea and good product but unfortunately it didn't work for me but my hiccups are from a medical condition and I've had them for 20 years but I was hopeful.

This product might be okay for regular hiccups. My hiccups are caused from damaged nerves and go uninterrupted for days. My doctor tried different solutions to no avail. The only solution to give temporary relief was pretty strange. My Asian wife said a simple cure she learned was to take a small piece of paper towel and soak it in cold water. Then stick the towel on your forehead. This actually worked until the water drys up and the towel falls off. So you repeat the process to stop the hiccups until you get tired enough to get some sleep. I bought this straw to try to see if it would work instead of looking dorky having a piece of paper on my forehead all the time. It didn’t work for my condition.

Tried this for the grandkids. Works like a charm! Wish I had gotten them long ago. Simple to use just follow instructions. Works every time.

It works great

I have had hiccups every day for eight years. My only relief has been when I sleep. The HiccAway does not cure hiccups but it does provide some relief. It is important to drink at least one full glass of water when using the device. In my case, there is a bit of delay before the hiccups actually stop. Good product and good service!

This works brilliantly! I bought it a little sceptically after seeing it on Shark Tank but it really does work and is a first aid box essential for us now
