Button is as advertised. It's similar quality to the OEM, looks great. Installation is a bit of a pain. I used the floss method. Once all 4 floss pieces are in place, you need to pull out the entire cylyndrical casing. Try to pull evenly on all 4 with a good amount of force. I was afraid I was going to break something as the unit didn't want to budge, but I got it to come out. Changing out the button will be simple. Then you're just sliding that cylinder with the new button attached down the opening making sure you have the 4 grooves lined up, +/- 15-20 mins. It's all a little tricky, but the end result is worth it.

Used on Alfa Romeo Giulia (2020) Ti Sport (should work in all Giulia’s! This is not an 3M stick-on cover (yay!!) and clips in to factory push assembly nub. It even allows LED light to come through writing to show at night and looks very very stock! Perfect fit & size! Highly recommend this vendor/product if you want the Quadrifoglio red button look for your Alfa. Simple 5 Min. install… To remove the button you have to remove the whole stock factory button assembly first: Use patience and using a ballpoint pen top/cap (see video) to push small piece of dental floss around the edge of button to form a loop & catch the button assembly snaps. Tip: Tie a knot to hold each of the 4 floss loop pulls tight around the catches to keep the floss from slipping off when you go to tighten strings just before you pull assembly out. So…After all 4 loop/floss pulls are ready to go - just give it a quick even pull (all 4 strings at once)… Pop; assembly and button will come right out. Then carefully use a needle to remove black flat button’s 4 clips, and swap button with red one purchased here on Amazon. Once assembled again- push the whole assembly back into the steering wheel hole… You’re all done!

The button cleanly snaps into the existing socket. It looks and functions nicely, but it protrudes above the casing, higher than the OEM button. Additionally, it lacks an opaque white backing, which makes the lettering appear dark in daylight and bright at night.

I had wanted to get a Giulia with a color interior but I ended up with a white on black. It has red calipers, so I added red puddle lights and this red start/stop button. It was a little tricky to install, but the way that worked was to run a durable line (such as fishing line) around and under the edge of the button, tightening it up and pulling straight out. The mechanism will pop free and you can then VERY CAREFULLY removed the snap on button from the mechanism and snap on the new one, and then push the whole ensemble back into the hole. Adds a little bit of distinction for the button and has a nice, smooth texture.

No good Didn't fit

Look for the install video on YouTube with the cap to a bic pen and dental floss. It wasn’t as quick or as simple as it looked online but not that bad either. Getting the floss behind each clip with the pen cap does not scratch the ring around the button. When you pull the cap and the part underneath come out together. You then use the small screwdriver to remove the old cap and install the new cap - then you insert the combined part back into the slot. It’s slotted to make it an easy insert. The descriptions on here are a joke, there are no screws, no wifi access and whatever else is selected…..

Absolutely a gorgeous upgrade. Installed in 2021 red stelvio with red interior. Special thanks to the previous reviews recommended using the floss to carefully remove the unit. It saved my time and made the procedure headache free. It was done literally within minutes.

Very good quality. This item fits perfectly in my 2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Veloce. I would recommend this to everyone who needs the red start stop button.
