I bought this A2 portfolio case for a student at Art college having spent many an hour researching on the internet reading reviews etc. I know it's not possible for some and a bit old fashioned but actually going in person to a shop will give you a better idea of the merits and quality of different case designs. It has now arrived (9/9/25 )and I'm disappointed. It cost £28.99 which feels very over priced for what it is. The protective metal studs on the exterior bottom edge of case were rusty not a major fault in my opinion but disappointing for a new item. The ring binder mechanism seems OK; no better or worse than for an ordinary school ring binder folder. It does fit A2 sized paper. However the main issue I see being a problem in the near future is the attachment of the shoulder strap is weak/inadequate for the weight of the case and potential contents. Said student will be carrying this case along with other bag(s) so will likely be using the strap. There is a 10/15 mins walk to college often in windy and wet weather which will stress the attachment points further. There is a single pop rivet at each attachment point into the thin polycarbonate case and no re-enforcement. That's an enormous amount of stress on these points, I can see them being ripped out quite easily. I am seriously considering returning this item for a refund.

Excellent value for money, supplied with 10 leaves, carry handle and cross tapes to help secure work. Arrived 1 day late but that wasn’t a real issue. Wood use this company again
