Tuning Slide Grease Lube for Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Tuba, Euphonium etc

I first purchased slide lubricant in a lip gloss like tube. I worried about the shape of that for application but that wasn't the problem. The material itself just didn't work very well. You want a slide to stay in place when you set it but be properly moveable when you want to tune the horn. The previous product had the tuning slide move and fall off the horn just due to gravity. So try, try again. This product fits the bill perfectly. It goes on easily. It provides the proper amount of friction and the tuning slides work amazing well. It was an unknown brand to me and I was a little hesitant as a result but after using it I have no more concerns. I have found what will getting used from here on out.

This slide grease is great. I had a chance to use it as soon as i got it while cleaning my instruments. I have used the brand name (Schilke) in th epast and this is just as good and less expensive. I recommend it (used for trumpet and flugelhorn slides.)

It works well. I use it for my trumpet slides. The only thing that was kind of weird was that after a while the color became green and it used to be blue if I remember. I think it just changed color from it being opened. I’m not sure if that’s normal though. It does work well for my trumpet slides though. I haven’t even finished it after a year. Keep in mind that you really don’t need to use a lot in order to loosen the slides. A little goes a long way. I recommend this but I’m not sure if the color changing is normal lol.

Creo que no tengo NADA malo que decir de este producto (a pesar de que siempre trato de ser imparcial ante casi todo), al contrario, debo decir que esta grasa ha sido hasta ahora la unica del mercado que me ha servido para que las deslizaderas de mi trompeta funcionen muy bien y sean de movimiento muy fluido y sin esfuerzo, porque antes de esta, tenia de otra marca que no era muy buena y la deje de usar, así que después decidí no ponerle nada, por lo que sin dicha grasa batalla un poco para mover las deslizaderas y aparte podían quedarse atoradas si las abría demasiado. Esta grasa trabaja bien aun cuando el clima esta algo fresco, puesto que algunas otras se endurecen ligeramente cuando las temperaturas bajan.

Tried it for my Bass Clarinet neck tuning slide—awesome! This stuff is great. No messy build up not too thick and not too runny, didn’t damage my silver or cork at all, and solved the really annoying friction in my neck. It’s small but goes a long way.

Lubes up real good with no noted skin irritation in sensitive areas..
