My senior citizen mother-in-law recently had a stroke and also broke her hip when she fell. We brought her home to care for her after hip surgery and rehab, and we purchased the combo bed and chair alarms with the early warning system to protect her from falls. They are worth their weight in gold! They were easy to set up and activate using the link to the "how to" videos included in the instruction booklet. We have only had her home a few days, and due to some damage to her critical thinking from the stroke, she forgets that if she were to stand, she would immediately fall. Several times already, the alarm has promptly sounded as she has attempted to get up, and we were able to quickly get to her before she got out of her bed or her chair and get her safely to the bathroom. We both sleep much more soundly knowing that her bed alarm will go off in the night before she gets out of bed. We keep the receiver clipped on one of our hips during the day (the attached clip makes it easy), and on our bedside table at night. I tested it out upon receipt, and the pads were comfortable to lie/sit on under the bed sheet and positioning sheet on her bed, and under a small blanket on her chair, without undue crinkling or plastic noise. The bed monitor has stayed nicely in place on her bed with the use of the clips that are provided with the order. I can't recommend these products enough both for top quality functionality and peace of mind. Update 02/2024: Still working well, but be aware that very occasionally, the alarm pads will "unsync" from the receiver (has happened twice), and will need to be resynced for the alarm to work. Be sure to test that the pads are working by quickly pushing to apply pressure on the chair or bed where you have the alarm pads placed before seating your loved one. Resyncing is simple, but it's important to make sure it's working.

Very well made mat, very easy to set up and pair. It works very well. The range is amazing, I was able to get signal three floors down and all the way to the street more than 300 feet away.

This set functions as advertised. It does a great job.

I only used the bed alarm so far. My mom used it for 1.5 years and it gave us peace of mind while she slept. The remote control can change battery but the bed transmitter cannot change battery. I need to order a new one today because the transmitter light went out and it did not alarm any more. I hope the design can change in the future so that we can change battery for the transmitter too. Or. Is this a way to keep the customers buying new one??

My 90 yo mom with dementia fell, broke her hip and was rehabbed at home. Due to her confused mental state she would attempt to get out of bed on her own. 48hours of no sleep was crazy. Someone suggested getting a bed and chair alarm and it worked well so I could get sleep. It works very well.

I have now moved into my mom’s house as her dementia is bad enough she should no longer be alone. Although we gave my mom a bell to ring for me when she needed help, she either felt bad waking me, or didn’t remember about the bell , or wants to believe she still has her independence. I was half sleeping with my door open hoping I would hear when she got up to go the rest room. Each time she would have already reached the bathroom before I got there. One of the caregivers told me about a chair alarm they have in nursing homes. I start researching and find this product. My mom has both a push up chair and a hospital bed, so it made sense to get this duo set. It’s even better than what the caregiver had suggested. I can now sleep with my door closed, the alarm is loud ( and a bit annoying, but you defn wont sleep through it). I make it to my mom’s bed each time before she is able to get off the bed. My mom, of course, never remembers that we have the alarm and gets a bit confused. I used the adhesive on the remote holder on the wall outside my door. When it goes off, i grab it off the wall, never have to look for it, and take it to her room with me. We keep the remote in her room during day, when caregivers are with her. We often turn it off during day, because if you’re making bed or touch the pad somehow, you’ll keep setting alarm off. But when caregivers go to kitchen to cook, they bring it with them, so if she gets up, they’ll hear it from downstairs. The signal does reach from her far bedroom to the kitchen. Now If I could only find the solution to stop my mom from going to the bathroom 3-5 times a night. Until then, this is perfect. It does come with a link to sign up for a 1 year warranty. That link no longer exists nor is it accessible on their website. I will have to give them a call. I should also menyion it was very easy to pair the remote with each pad. they provide clear instructions and videos. the first time i tried, i could only pair one pad, the other wasnt pairing (user error im sure). so i deleted the pairing and started over and it worked easily on 2nd try. this is one of those tools you will wish you had purchased much sooner, its so helpful.

Worthless piece of garbage. We've had this set for a couple of months now and it doesn't work very well. It keeps coming unpaired, and the one on the bed frequently stops working and has to be power cycled. The delay - even when you are on the no-delay setting - is not safe for the chair pads. Patient could have fallen by the time you even hear the alarm. And on top of that, it's only supposed to work for a year or two and then you're supposed to replace it. How these guys ended up being a major industry player is beyond me. A Ring camera works more reliably than this thing. And it's cheaper.....

Notifies you right away when someone's on the move. Helpful tool to prevent falls for seniors with dementia or wanders. Works for kids too.

J’apprécie beaucoup ce produit , simple mais efficace car il me procure de la de tranquillité d’esprit . C’est pour mon mari , qui est âgé et avec des problèmes de marche et d’équilibre. Ces appareils ainsi que l’émetteur sont très performants. Même si je suis à l’étage ou si mon mari est assis sur le perron à l’extérieur l’avertisseur émet un son d’alerte assez puissant , on peut le régler aussi sur vibrateur . Le seul point qui m’a déçue est que ce produit n’a pas d’instruction en français , ni en une autre langue que l’anglais. Je ne trouve pas cela normal , puisqu’il est vendu au Québec.

The product worked well initially, but after a few months it started giving out false alarms with increasing frequency. I wrote to the manufacturer (Lunderg), but was told that since I bought the product from an independent vendor (Amazon) rather than from them direct, it was not covered by their warranty! This was most disappointing as well as surprising. I would caution anyone from buying this product in future.

This worked amazing for my Dad. When he tried to get out of a chair or his bed , we were alerted and could assist. Appreciated this item and it's ease of use. It made a difference for us and helped protect Dad
