Crime Scene clear fingerprint lifting tape is 1 1/2 inches wide. Each roll is placed inside a plastic jar for storage and protection. To use: 1) Place the tape over the powdered latent print. 3) Lift the print. 4) Store the print on a print backing card or index card. Fingerprint lifting tape is a traditional and professional solution to removing and storing prints. The tape is 360 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. When the "finger print lifting tape" arrives you will find that it was probably designed to lift prints from four-fingered gray aliens that are 4' tall and have four thin fingers. Any given tape should be capable of lifting finer prints of four (4) fingers across. This cannot be done with this tape.
