Simple, Low Tech Alarm Clock with LOUD and Effective Results!!
This clock is great for heavy sleepers. If you have trouble waking up to a regular alarm sound, this one will definitely do the trick! It has me jumping out of bed in the morning! The ticking sound is very quiet (you have to press your ear up to the clock to hear it and even then it is quiet), and it is easy to read the analog numbers from a distance. There is a little light button on it that you can press so you can see the time at night. Overall, this is a simple, low tech, high quality option with great results for those of us who just tend to sleep a little deeper than most!

Beautiful
Beautiful clock that is easy to set up and works as intended. It is loud too. To the reviewers who say you can’t set the time to the exact minute, you need to learn how to read a clock. It most definitely can be set to the minute. It’s a clock and an alarm and it works fine. It also has a light button. There are instructions on the back that are easy to miss. It reads that you must turn the clock hands in a certain direction only or you will make the clock lose time. This means that if you go past the time you wanted to set it at, keep turning it in the same direction to get back to that time again.

Loud and dependable
This is a good clock to use as a primary or secondary alarm clock. It is very loud which is what I wanted. I use it to ensure I wake at 4 am on days I have to receive a dialysis treatment.

Not very loud
Clock arrived quickly and in good condition. Classic looking clock. Operates fine, just wish the alarm was a bit louder. And if you pick up the clock and stuff it under a pillow- the bells won’t ring at all.

Easy to use
Well quality, it’s pretty loud for the price. It’s the perfect size fits everywhere, it’s very cute and it’s not too bright so it won’t hurt your eyes in the morning.

ITS WORTH IT!
This clocks REALLY WORKS! Very loud and it serves its purpose in my home. U must turn the knob in the direction the instructions state. However, the knobs are fragile, should be much firmer & strong .

Honest review
The reason I’m only giving it 3 stars is because well, it’s a beautiful piece, Don’t get me wrong and it’s very well-made and it’s gorgeous to look at, but if you’re standing far away from it or even halfway near it, you can’t see the face of the clock because the numbers really are not that bright on the unit I got (Blueface white numbers) now, When you’re standing right next to it AND your also in a well lit room, yes, you could see it perfectly. And then there’s the backup light .. common, this has to be a joke. Please understand, The whole back doesn’t light up. No. it’s just a little tiny small dim light in the corner of it. so I put it on my novelty shelf, I have one of those but out of all honesty, I really also wanted a full functioning clock. It does work. It is loud when you turn it on I don’t really use the alarm because it’s not in my room… now there are other models that maybe I could’ve seen the numbers on the clock better but I can’t say it would’ve been as pretty and as nice as this one. I did turn on the alarm. I think it’s loud but it is it super loud now, but I think it’s loud enough that it would definitely wake somebody up assuming they’re sleeping right next to it. So I’m not gonna return it, but if the backup light lit the entire clock, or even better if the numbers on it were much brighter and maybe lit up automatically, I probably would’ve gave it five stars. It does work. But I shouldn’t have to stand right next to it to see the time. Just an honest review.

Peakeep Twin Bell Alarm: Great for waking you up, mediocre for playing frisbee with.
I've had this alarm clock for around a week and I love it. There's no way you'll be able to sleep through the clock's panic-inducing, shrill peals of the hammer bouncing off the twin bells. The alarm is insanely jarring, but if you need to get up in the morning and you aren't one to be intimidated by the prospect of starting your day with the possibility of a shock-induced heart attack, then this is the clock for you. I purchased this clock because if I use the alarm clock on my phone, I'll just set four or five alarms the night before and burn through those in the morning. Which of course leads to me waking up somewhere around a half hour later than I originally intended to get up and causes me to rush around to brush teeth and take a shower; and maybe make coffee if I managed to wake up on my fourth alarm instead of my fifth one. But this analog alarm clock does you the favor of eschewing the snooze button free of charge! You set the alarm hand for whatever time you want to get up, hit the alarm switch up to "on" when you get into bed, and then wake up in a panic! For me it's not worth jumping out of bed, turning my alarm off, spinning the alarm hand all the way around, and then turning the alarm back on just for an extra 12 minutes of sleep. I wake up nice and early on the very first alarm and have time to relax with some coffee and video games before heading to work. To put it bluntly. This alarm is loud. You will wake up. Now moving on to the less alarm-y elements of the alarm clock. The clock has a nice vintage aesthetic to it that can and will be appreciated by anybody with a searing lust for plain, unoffensive bedside analog time keeping devices. I purchased (and received, no less) this clock in white. The pictures on the amazon page are a fair representation of how it looks up close. A uniform color along the body, with a pleasant muted nacreous tone on the clock face. The hammer has worn away a couple flecks of the paint on the bells, but, come on, it's a metal hammer slamming into metal bells, let's be reasonable here. The clock has a fairly high quality look for the $15 you're paying. The makers of this clock, Peakeep, have been highly lauded from clock designers the world over for their pioneering efforts in crafting an alarm clock that can be set strictly in increments of 12 minutes. Yes, Peakeep is at the forefront of precision time instruments. You want to wake up at 8:15? Well 8:12 is close enough. Got a big meeting and need to be up at 9:45? Well its your lucky day because 9:36 is before 9:45 and still pretty close! So you may need to retool your morning routine a bit but this is a clock guaranteed to wake you up so it's a bit of a trade off ("guaranteed" in the figurative sense of course, they're running a business here) . The physical feel of the clock leaves something to be desired. It's light weight, which I suppose is good if you struggle picking up things that weigh more than three ounces, but because of its weight it just doesn't feel sturdy. This isn't a deal breaker by any means, and you can't expect the highest quality for the relatively low price you're paying, but this does not feel like a clock that can survive a tumble off the nightstand and it CERTAINLY doesn't feel like a clock that you can play frisbee with. It's barely even aerodynamic. The knobs to adjust the time and alarm on the back of the clock are the only things that feel really cheap on the item. They're a bit loose, they have a very plasticky feel, they droop down, and they rattle around when you move the clock around (yet another unnecessary noise to distract you when you're in the midst of a rigorous clock frisbee session). There's also a button on the back that lights up the face of the clock when you press it. It works fine, but it stays on only as long as you are pressing it down. There's no light that's stays lit continually on this clock, so if you need to see what time it is in a pitch black room at like 3:29 AM you'll have to pick your clock up and push the button (also it's like 3:29 AM, you're welcome for saving you some time). The legs of the clock feel sturdy enough, they haven't bent as far as I can tell. They keep the clock up and they haven't turned into arms while I've had my back turned, so they're doing a fine job at being legs. Also its got a handle. So. You can easily transport it to clock frisbee practice.

Yes! It's actually loud!
Bought as gift for someone who sleeps through alarm, after abnoxious alarm, for hours. Successfully woke on first go, as well as confusing people outside. Pretty and has no snooze or excess functions (which was actually a goal in this case so he had to get out of bed and switch it off instead of accidentally turning things off/snoozing and returning to sleep). Finally can stop missing critical things :)
