Amazing Paddle for the Money - Better than Several Expensive Paddles that I've Tried
I started my pickleball journey with this paddle. It was my first purchase for the very first league that I joined. I liked it right out of the package. It's lightweight, very balanced, and has a grip that is nice and soft and in the proper (longer) length to fit the average sized hand. After a playing in a couple of consecutive leagues I realized that there really wasn't anything that I didn't like about the paddle, but since I was learning and starting to play at a pretty high level I felt the urge to try something more expensive. My next purchase was a Joola Ben Johns Perseus paddle for around $180.00. This paddle was a huge disappointment. It wasn't as balanced (top heavy), the grip was hard and felt odd at the bottom, and it didn't have near the pop that this paddle has. I ended up sending it back. My next purchase was a Gearbox Pro Power paddle at $279.99. I couldn't believe I spent this much on a paddle, but I really wanted something top tier with a lot of pop. After playing with the Gearbox Pro for a bit I realized that it really isn't any better than the XSPAK paddle. The pop is about the same. The Gearbox feels slightly heavier and slightly more top heavy, although it's more balanced than the Joola. The grips on these two paddles feel pretty much identical. The other thing that I noticed is that the Gearbox has a slight dip on the surface, meaning it's slightly wavy on the main face of the paddle. I'm probably going to have to email them and potentially send it back. The bottom line is that if you're looking to get into pickleball, then this is probably one of the best starter paddles out there. In fact, based on the paddles I've tried I'd consider it a great choice for advanced players as well.

GREAT Paddle at a GREAT Price
For starters, the paddle I received weighs 7.76oz. The grip seems to have just the right amount of โgripโ and is squarish which I think helps keep your paddle square. Construction of the paddle seems REALLY good. As far as playability goes, I was playing with a Prolite Rebel Pro and MUCH prefer this new paddle. Itโs got great touch, good pop and (although some Pickleball snobs will tell you โspin doesnโt matterโ or โitโs the player not the paddleโ) good spin. I play all lot of cute shots and topspin forehands and I could tell right away this paddle was helping both. Itโs lighter than my previous paddle but I donโt feel like I lost any power. If youโre looking to try a raw carbon paddle I canโt think of a better way to spend $85.

Great racket for control and larger hands
Overall, a good racket for those who have a larger hand and need a bit more control over power. My entire family (who all love pickleball) sampled this paddle and gave some really good honest feedback. Pros: -Very lightweight and excelled at kitchen play. -Raw carbon surface give good grip for spin -16mm gives way to great control if your style of play is more resetting and slower Cons: -handle diameter is somewhat larger than other paddles we have. It's a bit tougher for those with smaller hands -definitely geared more toward control at the sacrifice of more power. You have to give more oomph when playing at the back line. So yes, it is softer play which is not terrible for those who's style is more aligned with that. Just be aware. -I noticed that after an hour of play, my hand and forearm would hurt just a little, again probably contributed to the larger diameter grip. When I switch back to my other paddle with smaller diameter, it felt much better. So, overall, it's a good racket for the price (and much better than the beginner paddles you see scattered throughout the site), and this is my son's favorite racket for the reasons above. I love testing paddles, because I simply love pickleball, and this is one is great if your focus is control (and you have larger hands). Perhaps if there were options for a smaller grip and a 13mm/14mm paddle for power this brand would be a complete package!

An absolute GEM of a paddle
I don't even want to write this review because I wanted to keep this paddle a secret! Ya'll need to get this paddle ASAP. I got it about 2 weeks ago and ever since then my game has improved tremendously. During hand battles at the net, I find myself controlling the ball and hitting it to places I never was able to before. Even when I mishit, the ball tends to pop in play. On putaways, the ball just goes directly down like a laser. The carbon surface of the paddle is incredibly grippy and allows you to put a lot of spin on the ball. I'd put it up against any $300 paddle in terms of spin. The paddle has ample power for serves and drives. I was actually surprised at the power it gets as it's a 16mm and advertised for control. It's a little on the short side at 15.7 inches. Some players may not like that, but I actually think a short paddle allows you to whip around the ball easier. At $69 (promo price), this thing is an absolute steal. OK, secret's out now! Have fun and go whip some pickleball butts :)

Great paddle, Great price
I have an XSpak elongated that I love so I got this for my girlfriend for only 25 dollars. This paddle is far superior than anything you can get at a big box store for a comparable price.

Owned so many paddles. This is the best one!
I rarely write reviews but this deserves my time. XSPAK should sponsor me by now lol I've been playing pickleball for 1 year and 7 months every day. I've played in Open Pro using this paddle. Here are the paddles I owned: Joola Ben Johns Hyperion CFS 16 - Gave me tennis elbow Joola Simone Jardim Hyperion CFS Swift - Gave me wrist pain Selkirk Power Air - Sold it coz I kept hitting that freaking hole on my rolls Selkirk Amped fiberglass - Good but noticeable dead spot ProKennex Pro flight - Hard to reset CRB1 (illegal and legal) - XSPAK is lighter than this which I preferred Selkirk Labs Project 006 - Finally they got rid of that freaking hole so this is my backup just in case the umpire didn't allow my XSPAK (Yes true story, one of my tournaments, they almost did not let me use my XSPAK after touching the surface and failed to search it on the list of legal paddles, but after re-searching they found it.) Gearbox Pro Power Fusion - Sold it Anyway Pros - Best Control - Best for dink battles and surprise rolls/lob - Tennis elbow and wrist problems gone! - Most Spin I can generate (They call me the Spin Doctor) - Good enough power for winners (If you can generate power better try this) - Best for resets and 3rd shot drop - Had the most unreturnable serve and unreturnable return of serve so far (hey don't hate) - More accurate Top Spin lob - IT'S CHEAP! So far I bought 3 of these. All paddles wear off, I would rather spend $99 for a new one than hope my $200+ paddles will last. Cons - All of my XSPAK damage was on the upper right and left hand corner of the guard tape being ripped open maybe because I always hit that side on my slices (check photo) - I wish they supply an eraser similar to CRBN for free because it gets dirty - The logo sticker at the bottom of the handle goes off - Don't use that tennis pro athlete on your product page. You have a great product you don't need it Hey XSPAK, you're welcome! (sponsor me maybe lol)

Simply the best performing paddle at this price!
I play pickleball twice a week and am a 3.5 rated player. I play with a name brand paddle that cost ~ $200. I ordered this XSPAK paddle based on all the positive reviews, because it has the exact same specs as my current paddle, and it was discounted down to $50 (they are giving this paddle away!). I am blown away by how well this paddle performs. It has great power for speed ups, incredible spin for serves and ground strokes, and soft feel for dinks. It has an extended grip (5.5โ) and quality anti slip wrap. I can honestly say that this paddle has improved my game. It has replaced my name brand paddle. Donโt walk but run to get yourself one of these XSPAK paddles before they are all gone (at the current discounted price). You will not be disappointed!

This Paddle can easily get you to 3.5+ DUPR
Unexpectedly awesome! This paddle is well balanced. Writing this review after a week of use. The pop is just perfect and it's got a nice overall sweet spot. I have been playing in Singapore for the last 2 months among various groups. It has already taken my game 2 notches higher up easily. Don't mind the marks on the Paddle in my pic. I need to buy an eraser for the same. All Paddles get dirty ๐

Competent Paddle
New to the game of pickleball, I read the reviews and ended up getting a set of these a few months. They are lightweight and easy to play with, having reasonable control over a range of shots. They are still holding together after having quite a few people play with them. Experienced table tennis plays can put some nice spin on pickleball with this paddle. If you are the type of player that likes to smash the ball all the time, then you probably should be playing squash, and I think there are some other paddles more suited to this style of play. If, on the other hand, you want a relatively cheap competent paddle, have a go at these.

Black
The grit was good it really gives you a good spin to the ball. Everything is fine with the paddle the only thing i can comment on is the power and pop of the paddle its very muted even though you hit in the sweetspot

Excellent Paddle
It performed as advertised. Lots of surface grip to put a spin on the ball. The grip is comfortable and a little sticky, "Perfect". Would buy again.
