Secura Visual Timer for Kids, 60 Minute Classroom Countdown Timer for Study

Bought this so my grandsons can see when I say 5 minutes or 15 minutes till they go to bed, get in the car, eat dinner they can see for themselves how much time they have left. They can’t tell time but they watch the blue get smaller and know what it means. Have been a huge help

This is the PERFECT timer. It’s attractive, simple and is very accurite. It’s also very simple to operate. 10 starts if I could.

Students can easily see how much time they have left to finish an assignment, clean up, transition to the next activity, or get ready for recess. As the colored section gradually disappears, it makes time easier to understand and helps cut down on repeated questions like, “How much longer?” It’s also useful for independent work, centers, testing, and classroom transitions.

Nice timers. Our kids use them to time themselves when practicing their musical instruments or doing other tasks. (E.g. daughter practices viola for 15 min every day, other daughter has to read for 20 min every night). Easy to set, and the kids like the visual color blocking to see how much time is left. I took off 1 star because one of the 3 we purchased was broken right out of the box. But the others worked fine and replacing it was fairly painless.

Highly recommended! These timers are supremely helpful for productivity and managing time-blindness. They are , however, mechanical so there can of course be glitches! I contacted the company to notify them of one such glitch (a random high pitch sound not associated with an alert) and the company responded quickly, verified that it was not explainable, and immediately sent a replacement. I know it can seem a little pricey for such a small device, but it is small and mighty AND you can rest assured that the company stands by their product.

I bought this Secura 60-Minute Timer to use as a cooking timer in the kitchen. It worked fine for the first handful of uses, but after less than 10 times it suddenly died. Now whenever I try to set it, it just beeps once or twice and then does nothing. It refuses to reset or start counting down at all. I replaced the batteries with fresh ones, but it makes no difference — the timer is completely dead and unusable. For a simple kitchen cooking timer, I expected it to last way longer than a few light uses. Very disappointed in the quality and reliability. Do not buy this one. Waste of money.

This visual timer has made such a huge impact on my life. It has changed my relationship to time and I find myself accomplishing things much faster than I thought I would have without it. The stand-up design makes it easy to see from across the room and the color is easy to see when I'm too far to read the numbers. I have multiple around my home and office. So great!

This timer is great for the price I grabbed it for! And the green is a lovely colour! I like that the colour is dark enough to see the time visually count down from further away as it is a smaller timer. My kids are obsessed with using it but it has also been very helpful in showing the kids how long of a turn they have to complete a task, how long they should spend reading, or how much longer they have to enjoy their precious screen time. Easy to use for kids and adults with a small dial to countdown anywhere between 1-60 minutes. The ticking clock sound is there but you can't really hear it unless you hold it right up to your ear or if it's very quiet in the room.

Good timer, love the design, I wish there was no ticking sound.

Easy to set and use

Doesn't need to be just for studying. I have to switch between my work tasks. It keeps me motivated and concentrating. The colour goes with my green aesthetics and i place it on the short beeping.

Great and simple timer kid friendly, helps with their time management.
