Is the cover machine washable?

It is, but I prefer to use this cushion without the cover, I threw out the cover. It's polyester and you probably know how much polyester starts to stink very quickly. If recommend finding a cotton cover for yours if you feel like you need a cover. I use this on my stool, I'm a production ceramist and so I sit quite a bit. Happy with this cushion :)

What is the real weight?

It is very light weight, around 1-2 pounds

Does the bottom have a non slip surface?

Yes, it does. I used mine on the office chair and it does not slip.

Does it really give a firm support?

Yes, I've been using it for a few weeks and it's still working the same asday one.
